Maybe more selection of music would make the experience better. ### 4/5 — Bring back retro 2 as a mode please! *2019-06-11, version 3.0.6* I used to love this game - flying through that octagonal tube at high speeds with smooth controls and large easy to see blocks to avoid. I liked beginner for the speed and claustrophobic for tight skill based control. I finally let it update and now it’s completely different - same great smooth controls but I can barely tell what’s happening. I look forward to getting better at the new version, but I wish it were either a different app or even better, just add a retro mode that lets me play the original versions. Retro 2 was my favorite. I was hoping this update would at least bring back the score and health on the screen while playing, but it hasn't. The game is so much more fun when you know you are about to break your record or reach a new achievement and you know you just have that little bit further to go to get there. That feeling was 90% of the fun of the game, but since you can't see your health or score on the screen (and therefore can't get that feeling because you have no clue how close or far you are from your target score or if you have already passed it), the game is just boring. ### 1/5 — a decent idea, executed poorly *2010-04-16, version 0* looking at the screenshots for this game is just as fun as playing, in that you're done with it in a few seconds. the music is repetitive enough without it looping after less than a minute. and the fact that it skips when the loop triggers, and causes the game to skip as well just shows how much time was put into development. the screens lead you to think maybe there is some kind of variety in the game, but it's just a different skin to play the same thing over and over. the only change in difficulty as you play is more obstacles in the way. and the openfeint achievements? you get one for clicking a link to the developer's site from within the app. you get another for changing level skins. they go as far as awarding a ton of points for playing 300 rounds. if achievements are all you care about, that won't be hard to get since you can just run into the first wall over and over. i suspect no one will be able to tolerate the game long enough to get there, though. ### 2/5 — please fix control speed acceleration *2022-07-02, version 3.0.8* the turn accelerates, it doesnt turn with same speed, making it hard to play when game is too fast especially when the forecoming obstacle is 180 degrees away and within close distance also i cant see obstacles easily because the view placement is on the bottom, not straight or above ### 2/5 — Needs work... At least have them as options in RR2!!! then i'd give it 5🌟 ### 3/5 — It's fun. It's ok. *2010-11-07, version 0* My first thing is to say is that there is no in game high score comparison system. You have to use open finet (however u spell it) it would be nice to see the high score along with the score you just earned. so minus one star for that. Also, anyone who uses GarageBand knows that the music is just receptive loops of pre-recorded music. Not very creative on that part. It's also sort of annoying to hear the same thing over and over. So minus another star. The positive side is that it's just fun to play and you can change the color. Overall, I say it's really only for killing time. I have seen better apps that where free. So for the price, 3 out of 5 stars. Keep the updates coming! Change the music and I might change my rating. :) ### 3/5 — Almost great *2010-10-27, version 0* This game is pretty good overall, but could really have some additions to make it great. -change the audio PLEASE!!! It's annoying to hear the same 5 second phrase put on an endless loop, gets repetitive quick -add an option to change the starting speed. The game gets really entertaining when you reach high speeds, but when you crash and have to start back at the slow speed, it really wants to make you put the game down. Add more shapes Overall it's a pretty good game, but the audio as well as starting at a slow speed can make it boring compared to other games.
