(And I’ve played a LOT of cozy games) I’m only in the beginning of the game and it’s been AMAZING so far, but the only reason I put 4 stars is because you can’t really do anything but make sushi for a little bit until all the plates are full. So when you’re done you have to wait a long time until you can fill the plates again and that’s basically it. ### 5/5 — Even better than Ice Cream Truck! *2025-07-16, version 1.5* I downloaded this game after the enjoying Ice Cream Truck / Donut Truck game! I love the variety of sushi you can make, and new elements like customer reviews. The illustrations are adorable as usual. I also appreciate that the ads are not intrusive in this game - i.e. watching ads is voluntary. I ended up voluntarily spending $0.99 USD for more coins anyway, to support the creators. Clearly a lot of work has gone into it! I didn’t even realize I was supposed to be filling out customer orders until I randomly clicked the note one day. Maybe I missed it but I don’t think the tutorial said anything if there was one. Also, in general all your games end once you have the upgrades. I wish you could have a mode where there’s no points or feedback effects and you just play therapeutically. I never buy games. But I liked both the games so much that if there were more levels, or upgrades so the game doesn’t just end, then I’d buy it 100%. Cuz the imagery and music and theme is peaceful, cute and relaxing. Like no other. Then this peace is disrupted by a terrible review from customer. I guess I get it and assume this is how you feel when we leave reviews. But I’d rather the low star rating have no text at all, than say that. I’d rather they word it more constructively like instead of “oh the sushi is meh and they don’t even have soy sauce…etc)” they could say “the food is decent, but I wish they had say sauce”. PLUS the reviews aren’t even helpful! It said “1 star for no salmon”. But the whole conveyer belt was already salmon, and I was in the midst of adding more. ### 2/5 — So rude *2024-07-06* So all sudden he says somebody’s got a good review for you so I go reviews and they put one star and I have all the ingredients and I each just has each sushi. The review said one star I didn’t. I didn’t like that sushi place your sushi tasted disgusting and nothing was good. Unlike Oiishi-cooking, this one doesn’t force ads into your face in order to continue playing, instead players can choose whether they want to watch it or not. If they do then they’ll get rewarded handsomely with bigger orders which means more coins and the sushis can be sold faster too, which gives them more incentive to actually watch ads. I also like that unlike the other games (mainly Ice Cream Truck and Oiishi-cooking), the cost to unlock new features isn’t that expensive and you can actually get enough coins in a decent amount of time, this kept me motivated to continue playing (lost interest in the other 2 cus it took too long to get enough coins) and I actually spent money on it too. Oh and it’s also great that you can leave the game and still collect the earnings after you come back.
