## What is Revona?

Most aurora apps hand you a dashboard of numbers and leave you to work it out. Revona answers the question you actually have: is tonight worth going outside for?

ONE ANSWER, WITH A REASON
A single verdict — GO, SOON, or NOT TONIGHT — big enough to read at arm's length in the dark, with a plain sentence saying why. "Kp 6, clear sky. Get dressed." Or "Kp 6 is strong, but 80% cloud is in the way."

WORKED OUT FOR YOUR PLACE
A Kp number on its own means nothing without knowing where you are standing. Revona computes your geomagnetic latitude, whether the aurora oval can reach overhead tonight, how dark the sky will actually get, and how much the moon will wash it out.

REAL DATA, NOT GUESSES
• 3-day Kp forecast from NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center
• Hourly cloud cover from Open-Meteo
• Moon phase, moonrise and moonset
• Tonight's dark window, and the clearest hour inside it

An hour with no cloud reading is shown as unknown, never as clear. That difference matters when you are deciding whether to drive an hour into the cold.

WORKS WHERE YOU ACTUALLY STAND
Aurora hunting happens in remote places with poor signal. Revona keeps the last forecast on your phone and shows it labelled with the time it was fetched — so opening the app with no bars gives you something honest instead of an error.

YOUR HUNTING LOG
Record what you saw, with a note and a photo. It stays on your phone; nothing is uploaded anywhere.

CAMERA SETTINGS
Suggested ISO, aperture and shutter for the intensity right now, for a phone or a proper camera. A bright aurora moves fast, so it needs a SHORTER exposure — the opposite of what most people try first.
