The camera was pretty nice, from Walmart. It came with everything. My only gripe is this app. It doesn’t work very good at all. It’s buggy, and you don’t even have an option to wipe unneeded videos from the app, you would have to pull the SD card and do it manually. It’s not user-friendly at all. Plug into your iPhone, and use the “Files app” to view and download the video. It’s more reliable and faster during an event. I’ve had to do this with every dash cam I’ve purchased. My wife was involved in an accident and I seen the footage on my phone and tried to download it onto my phone, but it wouldn’t work. Really sucks too because I needed that footage for the insurance company. I didn’t think she was gonna do any driving today, but she did and accidentally recorded over it. I can’t see any videos that’s been previously recorded. The Phone app will not link to the camera and I’m unable to find the videos on the actual camera itself. It shouldn’t be so hard to do this. I’ve also called the Customer Service number and left several messages. Never heard anything back since last week. It seems restarting my phone is the only way for the app to connect to the camera and successfully launch the app. Trying to open the app and connect without restarting my phone only results in a note pop up and it does nothing but sends me to the app settings.
