## What is RezepteNextcloud?

"Rezepte Nextcloud" is a free, ad-free iOS app for browsing, cooking and shopping with the Nextcloud Cookbook app.

REQUIREMENT: The free Cookbook app must be installed on your Nextcloud server (your server administrator can enable it from the Nextcloud App Store). The app connects to your existing Nextcloud recipe database - no built-in recipes are included.

Perfect for iPhone and iPad. Great while cooking!

FEATURES:

* Recipe List - Grid view with image, name and cooking times. Pull-to-Refresh.
* Recipe Detail - Image, times, scalable ingredients, numbered instructions, nutrition facts.
* Serving Stepper - Ingredient quantities recalculated live (integers, decimals, fractions).
* Cooking Mode - Full-screen step-by-step view, swipe between steps.
* Cooking Timer - Automatically detected from the recipe or set manually. Multiple timers at once. Push notification on completion.
* Favorites & Bookmarks - Mark recipes with star or pin. Separate sidebar entries. Per user, ideal for shared recipe collections.
* Recipe Editor - Edit all fields, upload images, create recipes manually or import from a URL.
* Categories - Sidebar with all categories and recipe count.
* Search - Keyword, tag and ingredient search, each with category filter.

### 1.7 — 2026-08-17

* Image changes take effect immediately: After saving a new recipe image, it is shown right away in the list and detail view - no manual refresh needed.
* Delete image in editor: New trash button in the recipe editor. Deleting automatically generates a placeholder image.
* Clearer error messages: HTTP 404 now directly indicates that the Cookbook app must be installed on the Nextcloud server. During URL import, a note appears that the recipe may have been imported successfully despite the error.

Fixed: Recipe image upload now works in shared folders too

### 1.6 — 2026-08-09

Sign in with Nextcloud – directly inside the app

* Nextcloud Login Flow v2: Sign in with your regular Nextcloud password – no app password required. The in-app browser closes automatically after a successful login.
* App password still supported: If you prefer the classic method, the "Use App Password" section is still available.
* Per-user Favorites & Bookmarks: In shared recipe collections, each user now has their own independent Favorites and Bookmark list.

  the new Favorites section in the sidebar.
· Bookmarks  Save recipes to your bookmark list – perfect
  for "want to try soon".
· Shopping List: Recipe names are now direct links to the

· Uniform Recipe Cards: Cards in a row now always share the
  same height.
· New app icon.

* Bring! integration can now be turned on or off.
* Print or share recipes as formatted PDFs.
* Faster recipe and image loading with improved caching.
* Recipe cards now show preparation times at a glance.
