That, I could probably deal with. My biggest frustration, however, is that the TPE export doesn’t include offset or input frequency information… which means that when I import repeaters into my radio, the default offset is used in every case. Which means I need to manually edit those that don’t use a default offset. That being said, the information is thorough, and the map is nice… so two stars instead of one. That should tell you something: the developer isn’t actively maintaining it. I have made update requests to add new repeaters and delete old ones and nothing has happened yet? I do like the functionality, especially the gps location while you travel. Tried to submit a claim and app says never paid. Paid for renewal, but the app wouldn’t recognize it. No support through the app; emailed the support address on their website and was referred to the (nonexistent) app support. ### 1/5 — Will NOT renew and update *2023-03-03* Had this app for years. Noticed in setting that the “subscription “ expired a fee years ago. I tap on renew and it acts like it is renewing my subscription and tries to charge my account. It then says renewal successful. BUT in reality, nothing is getting purchased, there are no receipts to restore the purchase and it still shows expired years ago. Tried multiple times to renew but it won’t work. Complained a year ago and no response. If the developer won’t take the time to fix this app, you shouldn’t waste your time, or money, installing it. ### 2/5 — Does this app get any support? *2022-07-24* There are a lot of old reviews here. For something that is the official online repeater directory of the ARRL and other organizations it seems pretty ignored. I cannot get it to let me override my location. It always says it can’t find the place I am searching on. I have signed out and back in with no improvement. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled with no improvement. Tried numerous times to contact them via the given support contact email as well as the associated PayPal email - nothing. Just paid 13 bucks for nothing. If it is no longer supported it’s fine but I’d like my 13 bucks back, this app taken off App Store and the website closed please. ### 1/5 — Too expensive. *2021-03-31, version 6.19.101* Disrespectful to customers to make them pay 25 dollars for an annual subscription. I’d like a refund because the app is not useful without the subscription ### 2/5 — Not worth the purchase price *2021-03-09* I downloaded this app after seeing it was the official repeater directory of the ARRL. I was disappointed to see out of date information. I attempted to update some out of date repeaters and found there is no way to do so in the app. I attempted to add a new repeater that is not yet listed in the app and I got several different errors when trying to do so. Until the developer improves the app, don’t waste your money. ### 2/5 — I want this to work so badly. *2020-12-02, version 6.19.101* You’d think the “official” repeater directory of the ARRL would be a great app. This does have some features other apps lack, such as a map showing where repeaters are, but, overall, it doesn’t work more than it works. Again, now, it is unusable for me. Seems like when one problem gets fixed another one shows up. Currently it will only display repeaters in the 147.xx frequency range, no 146.xx frequencies show up. I’ve changed to using Repeater Book, which is free but works MUCH better. It lacks maps but otherwise outperforms this app by leaps and bounds. I emailed tech support, and within minutes received a reply from the owner/author of the app with his phone number. I called, and he had the problem solved instantly. Not only was he helpful, he was great fun to talk with about HAM radio and other products he has developed. ### 5/5 — Great service *2021-04-12* While configuring my Chili Peppa my computer timed out and locked up my hotspot. I called for service and had great help. Bob the creator answered the phone himself. He took extra time with me and taught me the correct configuration. One of the major points that I appreciate is the flexibility. I can see it on my iPhone, on my desk top and use it directly in RTsystems. I can sort out what I don’t want to see and concentrate on what is important to me. The routing function is really great allowing for multiple waypoints. But it doesn’t stop there. The support is awesome. Bob really wants this to work and wants you to be happy. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone. $12.99 for a years use is unbelievably low for the quality of product and service. ### 5/5 — New user, poor listings *2020-09-25* Seems to work well, but it started out missing many or most local repeaters that are clearly listed in ARRL’s printed book. After a while, it did list correctly. It also maps the results - a significant plus. Overall, looks good! ### 5/5 — Exelent App *2020-02-20* Sincerely is a great app that give you access to repeaters without search online,repeaters directories books etc. The special and amazing about this great app is that as a visually impaired ham is a plus because let me integrate the Voice Asistant so I can search and operate de app with only my fingers trough the screen and been guided by voice and be in the air with out problems. I recommend this app to everybody who want to be in touch with all repeaters worldwide and be updated. The most I like is the fast response from his creator Bob Greenberg (W2CYK) and his great tem with all the support when i have any question at the momment. Very intuitive design and easy tu use. This is a dual band radio with DMR plus an Android phone with Wi-Fi and GPS! All works really well! Am still new to ham radio, so I had to call RFinder to get some help. The big cheese himself, Bob, answered the phone and gently walked me through registering my DMR ID, an issue with squelch, complete with a short discussion on Android vs Apple! He is a really nice guy with a great vision.
