## What is RGMI RM Gorbacheva Institute?

The «RGMI» app was created to facilitate the professional communication with RM Gorbacheva Research Institute, Pavlov University, St. Petersburg, Russia. It supports all the features needed to stay involved in clinical, scientific and educational activities of our Institute.   
RM Gorbacheva Research Institute of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Transplantation was established as a department of Pavlov University in 2007. As one of the largest transplant centers in Russia and EU it is mainly focused at hematopoietic stem cell transplantation as well as other complex interventions performed in patients with hematology and oncology conditions. 
RM Gorbacheva Research Institute is currently one of the central points for academic research in hematology and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. It also acts as a reference center in cytogenetics, flow cytometry, molecular biology and morphology for patients with leukemia, inherited bone marrow failure and other non-malignant conditions, acquired aplastic anemia, chronic myelo- and lymphoproliferation, plasma cell dyscrasias, myelodysplastic syndrome, and solid tumors. The Institute’s clinical departments specialize in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, intensive chemotherapy regimens, novel chemotherapeutic and targeted therapy agents, methods used in rare inherited conditions.      
RM Gorbacheva Research Institute is closely connected to Hematology, Transfusion medicine and Transplantation Chair with Pediatric Oncology course, which is named after Institute’s founder, professor Boris Afanasyev. The chair provides postgraduate education programs in pediatric hematology, pediatric oncology and transfusion medicine. This interactive app is an instrument aimed to facilitate the involvement in educational activities, symposiums and conferences organized by RM Gorbacheva Research Institute and Chair.
