I love this app! Do not hesitate to buy this app and search through the information. I tapped Anion-Gap on the screen and it gave me the full listing of what can cause a gap, including a couple of mnemonics to remember it by. No-one else could name toluene as a cause, and that was what he was looking for! I was the star of rounds that day! I guarantee it contributed to my excellent evaluation because things like that make you stand out. All it gives you is the average value range for each test in teeny little writing. I cannot believe I paid for this. Good interface. Easy to use. Some of the more esoteric tests don't have a monologue describing their interpretation ... although presumably if you ordered it you know something about it... The app is largely focused on labs with numerical values. It is unfortunately missing some titer tests e.g. many of the rheumatology antibodies, for which values may vary between labs BUT for which a listong with a brief monologue would be hugely helpful in daily practice... ### 3/5 — So so *2011-09-12* This app is good for giving info on what the tests are and indicate, but some of the norm ranges are inaccurate... The only flaws I can find are with the business behind it and it’s updates. The linked website is basically a couple pages of text and then a dead link to their forum. The app sends an alert that it needs an update, but requires you to register before it will update, then the registration process times out. 🤷🏻‍♂️ ### 4/5 — Good *2011-06-10* Would be better if you could hide top and bottom bar to allow more space for labs. It also also reference values for EVERYTHING in the search bar, so you never need to look up any lab value again! It's all here.
