Whenever I try to launch a pump usage in the app I get an error. Screen resolution not optimized for iPhones without home button. Letterboxing on top and bottom like app from 2017. Lots of room for improvement. Will be looking forward to using the new app once functional. Please test before releasing. I see a bunch of positive reviews and also see that employees were the only ones that got early access. I see a bunch of unflinching praise and then there is a clear line and all the negative reviews come in. My assumption (speculation) is that a significant amount of perfect reviews came from employees. ### 1/5 — Unimpressed customer *2022-04-02, version 1.8* If there was a rating lower than 1, I’d give it. In order to utilize this app to it’s potential you must include your credit card information. You cannot use your accumulated points to pay for fuel without putting in a credit card number of some type. Why ? If I have $30.00 in accumulated points, I should be able to use those points to pay for my fuel without having a credit card number on file. Also you get zero points for alcohol and tobacco purchases. Why ? It also takes 22 tea purchases now to get enough points to get a free tea when it used to take only 6 tea purchases to get a free tea with the old Rhodes tag that went on your key ring. This app is terrible. Go back to the old way. It’s so easy to use and who doesn’t love getting points for purchases?! Only downside is adding a bank account. For a smaller business you made a relatively complex app that functions as it should. Worked like a charm on my first fill-up! The reason it’s not 5 Stars instead, is mainly due in part to the app not allowing you to see gas prices at the various stations near your location. I think this is definitely a must-have feature, and it saves the user from having to use an app like gas-buddy. Nobody at any Rhodes store will ask for it and when you do use it, their scanners broken ### 1/5 — Order ahead is gone *2026-02-02, version 3.1* They got rid of the only reason I even used this app went. They decided to stop the function that allows you to order ahead before you get to the store to save your time. It was the only reason I even went to Rhodes since we have other gas stations that are a little cheaper. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-08-09, version 3.1* The app used to work fine for me. Now, I always get errors when trying to use it for fueling, the location never works and it will tell me I’m at a different store than the one I’ll actually be sitting at, also, the new version of sending out promos via text stinks. It used to send out a link to a barcode. Now, it sends out a link but the link takes me to the Rhodes app in a browser page instead of the actual app on my phone and I have to authorize my phone every single time. I used to use those promo codes but not anymore. Forcing people to jump through hoops and requiring them to buy online instead of in store is ridiculous. I love Rhodes, but this app and the promo system is messed up. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-06-16, version 3.1* I went through the identification process and when time to login it takes me back to the activation screen and when I enter number it doesn’t send a code and there’s no way to get to the login screen. ### 1/5 — Trash! I don’t recommend! *2023-08-03, version 3.1* The most recent update is straight trash! Every time I try to open the app I have to enter my phone number and validate the app… highly inconvenient!! And to top it off, you enter your phone number and a valid email address, but I still never get a text or email!!! When I have to wait a week or more to get into your app, I don’t care how much money I’ll save using it, I’ll spend my money at your competitor. Bank account falls off every time after completing the authentication process. This app is loaded with issues. Try, try again.
