### 4/5 — Nice App But…

*2025-07-21, version 12.01*

Rhythm Sight Reading Trainer app does not allow you to review a recent practice exercise unless you save it in favorites. It would be nice to be able to press the left arrow in practice mode, in case you wanted to go back to a Previous exercise.

### 5/5 — Yeah, my personal app of the year

*2025-06-15*

Danke.

### 5/5 — Best Rhythm Reading App EVER

*2024-12-20*

Words do not describe how thankful I am for this app. I’ve struggled a lot with sight reading, especially rhythms, and practicing through this app has been insanely helpful in strengthening this skill. It functions incredibly well and has so many features. The only thing I hope will be added in the future is a way to practice on headphones, but I understand if that’s difficult due to the inherent delay when using headphones. Regardless, this app is a literal dream!!! I’ve been using it for many years now and can attest that it is absolutely worth it.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I’m thrilled to hear how much the app has helped you strengthen your rhythm-reading skills. Regarding the headphone delay, you can avoid that issue by using wired headphones—many users have had success with Apple’s wired EarPods. Because they don’t introduce the same latency as wireless options, the app will recognize them and deliver a seamless experience.

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2024-11-02*

I use this with the Apple Pencil and I couldn’t ask for more from an app. Thank you so much. You’ve really nailed this.

### 5/5 — Works great the iRig HDX

*2024-10-16, version 11.10*

Excellent to practice rhythm guitar with the iRig HDX

### 5/5 — By far the best app!

*2024-09-06*

This is such a wonderful app. I am a professional musician and music teacher and I am so impressed with this app. It is designed with the user in mind, and I love the fact that I can also customize the measures to reflect rhythms that I wish to practice more.

Congratulations to the team that as developed this app!

### 5/5 — Fantastic app!

*2024-06-16*

This is such a great app for helping with rhythm. I’ve only been using it ten mins and I’m already improving!!

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2024-04-01*

I love this app. I suggest it for all my piano students. I use it to practice rhythms for myself too.
I love that you can use challenge mode to increase tempos.
Just one suggestion. Make the tapping pad a little bigger. Sometimes I’d like to use two fingers, and it’s almost impossible because of the size if the pad.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. We're glad to hear you love our app! In the Tapping menu, there's an option to use two tapping buttons. These buttons are strategically positioned to facilitate tapping with alternating fingers in portrait mode or with two alternating hands in landscape mode. We hope this feature enhances your experience. Thank you for your feedback!

### 1/5 — Lev

*2024-02-02*

Hi - why are time signatures only in even? Am I missing something or is the app really so limited?

**Developer response:** The app supports several odd time signatures, including: 5/4, 5/8, 6/4, 7/4, and 7/8. Additionally, different subdivisions are available for these odd time signatures, such as 2 + 3 and 3 + 2 for 5/4, 5/8 and 3 + 4 and 4 + 3 for 7/4, 7/8.

The complete list of supported time signatures includes:
2/2, 3/2, 4/2, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 7/4, 3/8, 5/8, 6/8, 7/8, 9/8, and 12/8.

Please explore both the fixed exercises and random levels to experience all of these time signatures. We hope this information helps you.

### 5/5 — Great Little App

*2023-10-13*

Experienced musicians can see a rhythmically complex piece of music and just tap it out without much trouble before playing it. Me? I’m not in that group. I need to go over a piece many times before I can play it. I reduce the time I need between first seeing the music and finally playing the notes by practicing with Read Rhythm. I enter the notes into the editor and practice until the rhythm is familiar to me. I have a habit of being a little ahead of the beat in my playing, and can work on that in the app, since it tells you if you are ahead, on, or behind the beat. When I’m done working on a section, I email the results to my music teacher, so we can go over it in lesson. In all, this is a great app for perfecting your rhythm, either through random exercises or by creating your own.

I should also add that I had a question at one point about the editor, and the developer answered me very promptly to tell me what I was doing wrong. Not many apps have that kind of service, and I was very glad for the help.
