### 2/5 — HRV reading

*2026-04-27, version 2.21*

Daily struggle connecting to HRV from HR. Works well in HR mode but despite changing several times, generally can’t get it in HRV mode.
The triple button press sounds easier than it probably is. This app never showed the HRV readings but Elite HRV did (once or twice). It would be nice to know what’s going on with this. Otherwise basic but reliable device & app.

### 2/5 — Can’t pair with Rhythm 24

*2024-08-16, version 2.20*

Tried many times, even deleted and reinstalled this app and STILL won’t pair. Can’t use the app if it won’t pair with the devices it’s meant to be used with!!!

### 1/5 — App is pure garbage

*2023-01-28, version 2.19*

The monitor is great. This app is an insult to mankind. Freeze/crashes non-stop. Useless.

### 2/5 — Very Limited Capabilities for Rhythm+ 2.0

*2023-01-12, version 2.19*

Downloaded this at the direction of Scosche customer service to check the monitor battery level. It DOES show that. That and software updates are the only functionality this app has for the + 2.0. It may have additional functions with the Rhythm 24, which I do not own.

### 1/5 — Brand new device and the app isn’t functional

*2022-12-03, version 2.17*

I just bought my first device from this company, and I can’t even get it to work. The app is so buggy that it is completely unusable. Most of the menu items don’t even work. And, it doesn’t look like the app has even been updated in the past year. Is this company even still in business?

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2022-09-03, version 2.17*

The help menu is horrible

Nothing happens when you hit “My Details, Sync, Config Sharing and Software Updates”

It is telling me I am in Zone 1 but it knows nothing about me or where my zones are. Useless.

### 1/5 — Very problematic. Almost constant disconnecting.

*2022-08-27, version 2.17*

When the monitor works it is great, the issue is that it only stays connected 10% of the time.

I’ve tried every solution I can find - pair with a different phone, different Apple Watch, reboot, update, reinstall, etc. and it still disconnects.

### 1/5 — Bad product. Same issue. 2 yrs ago

*2022-04-23, version 2.17*

Should have read the reviews. Can’t connect to peleton keeps losing connection. Can only be known to the app. Pretty useless.

### 1/5 — No funciona

*2022-04-06, version 2.17*

Con iPhone 12 y Rhythm2.0 no va nada.

### 1/5 — App simply doesn’t work

*2022-01-11, version 2.17*

Bought the HR monitor ScoscheRhythm & this app simply doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Useless on the rhythm+

*2021-12-20, version 2.17*

Only have access to heart beat.

### 1/5 — APP連結超爛

*2021-11-18, version 2.17*

早知道買個便宜的就好 功能跟價格無法匹配 APP連接手機問題一堆

### 2/5 — The monitor is great. App…. Less than great

*2021-11-06, version 2.17*

Constantly have problems syncing the app to the monitor with Bluetooth, even when my phone says they’re connected.

Monitor works great with the Peloton but can’t work with the company’s own app? Frustrating.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2021-11-02, version 2.17*

The app never recognizes my device. I have uninstalled and installed twice and nothing.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No HRV

*2026-02-03, version 2.21*

The device page on Amazon states that HRV is supported. There is no way to turn it on in this app.

### 1/5 — App打開連不上

*2025-02-13, version 2.20*

藍芽已連線
打開app常常連不上
很爛

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2024-07-06, version 2.20*

This is a terrible app! Do your kettle bell workout and think it’s recording details like HR on Apple health then forget it. Absolutely rubbish

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2024-07-01, version 2.20*

Nothing works. Terrible UI. No troubleshooting available. This is either an example of a team having no budget to work with or really lacking development.

### 1/5 — Horrible range

*2024-06-20, version 2.20*

Device is literally 10 feet from me and it disconnects saying “No monitors available”, the website specifically states “Up to 100ft Wireless Range”, this is false advertising at it’s finest and this app should be reported and not recommended by the company. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — App no longer works

*2024-04-07, version 2.20*

Don’t bother as of 2024 this app no longer works with Scosche products. Crashes and doesn’t export to any other health apps.

### 1/5 — App simply doesn’t work

*2023-09-08, version 2.19*

Bought the HR monitor ScoscheRhythm & this app simply doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Export to csv does not work with customised zones

*2023-06-27, version 2.19*

Workout recordings exported as csv files use the default heart rate zones and cannot be changed to report your customised zones. So if you want to see your customised hr zones you need software to analyse fit files.

### 1/5 — Worthless App

*2023-05-04, version 2.19*

App is unworkable, unresponsive, and provides no value.

### 1/5 — How do I get this to work! The app is screwed up

*2023-04-01, version 2.19*

Simple app that should not be causing so many problems. I can’t change my height and weight and the app says that my maximum heart rate is 180 for me and I am 56 years old.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works fine

*2025-08-12, version 2.20*

Quick to install and easy to Connect to my scosche Sensors. Does what it is supposed to do!

### 5/5 — Very basic but functional.

*2025-02-22, version 2.20*

The rhythm 24 heart rate monitor seems to be a very accurate and decent product with good functionality. This app however, is extremely basic. I don’t think this app was actually intended to be used for more than its basic features. Which are to show you your heart rate, heart rate zones, battery level, software updates, basic settings. You definitely need a different app to enjoy all the functionality and features of your heart rate monitor. If you set your expectations for these basic features, the app is functional. If you expect anything more like what an exercise program is going to give you that is not what this app does.

### 5/5 — Super reliable and accurate

*2024-03-17, version 2.20*

As I own a Rhythm 2+ The app is just for firmware updates, and hey presto it works :) I previously owned the original Rhythm and it’s still working and accurate after 7 years of use. Recently upgraded to the Rhythm 2+ for the 24hr battery life improvements. Would recommend to anyone wanting an accurate, reliable, long lasting arm based HR sensor.

### 5/5 — Love it.

*2024-01-06*

The app connects to my Rhythm+ band and shows my heart-rate. It can simultaneously track my HR in the Apple health app AND the Sosche rhythm app. It works for what I need and I like it.

I am very happy that despite the app being out a long time, it hasn’t become obsolete (even after many IOS updates). It still works and is still downloadable from the app store which can’t be said for a lot of other apps!

Thanks for making a simple-to-use product and software with lasting compatibility and longevity!

### 5/5 — Simple accurate heart beat app

*2022-08-02, version 2.17*

I don‘t understand the bad reviews. Love this app. Simple, to the point. Didn‘t need to sign in, just download the app, turn on bluetooth, click the connect, and off I went.

I just compared my old Scosche Rhythm to the heart rate monitor on an Apple watch 6. A perfect match. Same readings. Could not be happier.

### 5/5 — Good connection

*2022-02-02, version 2.17*

It does connect to the device.

### 5/5 — Working for me!

*2020-05-01, version 2.11*

Despite the overall negative reviews of this app I really wanted to adjust my zones. I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, I was easily able to connect to my Rhythm24 and update it’s firmware. I was not able to find any bugs and everything worked like I expected it too. I hope you have the same experience.

### 5/5 — Good

*2020-01-12, version 2.11*

I used it to update the firmware and to see what the battery level is so does everything I need. For actual HR monitoring I connect it to my watch

### 5/5 — Runner

*2019-06-07, version 2.7*

Unit works great !!

### 4/5 — BOTH the device and app work as expected

*2021-02-21, version 2.14*

I bought my Rhythm+ June of 2017.

Ok, there are a ton of negative reviews on here, which I believe are a tad unfair. I sync the strap with my watch (presently a TomTom Runner), and it just plain works. Occasionally the HR will measure low, but during the course of my runs, it is rock solid. As for the app, I only use it to make sure that my firmware is current (which has only needed an update 1 time - I’ll get to that in a minute), and to check the battery level to see if it needs charging. I basically charge the unit once per week.

I am actually now on my second Scosche HRM.

The first one (purchased in 2017) needed a firmware update, but (on the ORIGINAL app, not this one) following all of the guidance from the app and from tech support, it simply would not update. The tech support team advised me that it wasn’t really a necessary update, but if desired, they would replace my unit with a new one that had been updated. I opted to swap it out and have had no issues since. (This was in July/August 2019).

Do I wish we could do more in the App? Sure, but my main focus as a distance runner is knowing what my HR is doing during my training and long distance runs. Anything more than that is just a bonus.
