## Most critical reviews (5 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Subscription Pop up window sucks

*2026-02-24*

Every time you open this app, there’s a pop-up that asks you to subscribe to the premium version.
Every single time you try to create a task, the same subscription pop-up gets in the way and prevents you from seamlessly using the app. At this point, just make it a paid app instead of wasting peoples time.

### 1/5 — Lying about free app

*2025-10-08*

You are lier! You said your app is free but its paid in real!!

**Developer response:** Hi! Rhythmiq is completely free to download and use, you can enjoy all the essential Pomodoro features without paying. The optional paywall only applies to premium features, but the base app is (and will always remain) free.
We’re sorry for any confusion and hope you’ll give it another try.

### 4/5 — Great

*2025-05-13*

Great app, simple, intuitive. I just wish it continued counting the time when the phone is locked.

### 5/5 — Keeps me focused

*2025-05-15*

Clean and simple UI. I like that I can set any length of timer. As another reviewer said, I also wish the timer would work in the background but I did seem to reach for my phone less when I knew the timer would stop if I switched apps.

### 5/5 — Great so far

*2025-05-08*

Great and free! Can’t beat it.

**Developer response:** Thank you! 🙏
