Adding money to the account to long winded and complicated. Some features are not set up and not operational, and I have been trying to close my account for months now and it won’t allow me to. What a mistake to open an account this app. Utterly useless. ### 1/5 — Cannot make payments *2025-06-17, version 2.1.4* Had Ribbon for a while. For about the past 3 months have been unable to make ANY payments online. In app confirmations never appear and my requests to support go unanswered. What’s the point of a bank account if I can never use my card??!? App would hang each time I tried to take reverse image of my driving licence! ### 1/5 — Too slow. *2025-05-09, version 2.1.4* Sadly everything takes ages. It can take more than a day just to simply convert GBP to EUR. It also takes hours to receive funds when depositing and also takes hours to add a recipient to be able to transfer funds out. When other online banks do this in seconds , sadly you’ll be pushed to use other banks. ### 1/5 — Thief’s *2024-10-09, version 1.0.2* Have money in the account and can’t log into the app to transfer the funds and can’t get cash from a machine as they said they were updating the app and would be back in less than 24 hours, it is now 4 days later and still no access. If it is not active by tomorrow so I can access my money I will be taking legal action against this company and take them to court as they can’t stop people getting their own money.
