## What is Ribeki?

Take care of your island until your family returns. 
Help your friends on the neighboring islands and contribute to conserving the ecosystem. Resilience and perseverance will be key to overcoming this adventure!
 
Ribeki is:
+ An educational video game which supports social and emotional development among children. 
+ A game about social and emotional skills of resilience and perseverance.
+ It is aimed at primary school children (ages 8 to 12).
+ Available to be played in Spanish and English.
 
Pedagogical Content:
+ This educational video game supports the development of social and emotional skills that allow for productive coping with adverse situations and successful adaptation to new conditions, as well as those that help prevent risky and addictive behaviors in children.
+ Concept: resilience, perseverance, self-awareness, self-regulation, delay tolerance, delayed gratification.

Inoma is a Mexican, non-profit organization that supports education through free educational video games from TAK-TAK-TAK. All video games are aligned with the basic education program of the Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP) of Mexico. These video games are also available to play on our platform using the same username and password.
 
Ribeki was funded with the support of the Gonzalo Río Arronte Foundation and was developed by Inoma and Básica Educativa, with the advisory of the Department of Education of the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
