You can’t place the last piece, and you can’t skip the minigame to avoid this glitch. That means you can’t finish the bonus, you don’t get access to the secret room, etc. Big Fish should be ashamed for failing to fix this for more than 3 years, but then they’ve demonstrated that their iPad users are the red headed stepchildren of their fan base. Their poor treatment of us has assured that I will never turn to their PC games as a substitute. My rating absent this glitch would have been a 3, due primarily to the short length of the main game, the lack of novelty in the puzzles, and the blurry graphics. I won’t play this again. ### 3/5 — Beautiful artwork but... *2018-11-10, version 1.0.0* I found it incredibly frustrating to find my way around the game. I found the map confusing and not always responsive to touch; I often had to tap several times. As usual with Elephant games the graphics were gorgeous but the game wasn’t that captivating as I found it confusing. ### 2/5 — Volksy48 *2018-02-11, version 1.0.0* Found this game very frustrating. Instructions for some mini games were not indicative of what was required, pick ups were clunky mostly and in the secret room I could not pick up the dagger/umbrella despite trying for ages and a restart meaning I cannot finish the game. All that happens is a cycle of using your power-jigsaw-a click on gate and you're back to the blue symbol again. Tried reloading and replay, and skip, the lot but to no avail. Very Disappointed. ### 3/5 — Inconsistent but not Glitchy *2015-12-09, version 1.0.0* This game was a mix of challenging puzzles and non-puzzles (you untangle the rope by tapping it a few times). Frequently, The Detective (player) has to go back to his/her home, but you can't get there without tapping the hint button. Halfway through, the storyline switched and the end was in no way related to the beginning. Bonus game was mostly dialogue between characters with odd speech bubbles that were not a part of main game. There is a glitch at trying to finish the puzzle and open the gate. Please fix...other than that, love the game but it is short. Game before this one in this series was much longer. Wrote the above back in Aug 2015 and nothing has been done to fix the glitch I encountered in the bonus game. Read some other reviews that state the same glitch. Since my last review over two months ago, I thought this glitch would've been fixed. Do you think something can be done to remedy this? Thanks! ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2015-10-10, version 1.0.0* This is the first Elephant game that I didn't really enjoy. Kept finding myself thinking "I can't wait for this to be over." Which is not typical for Elephant. Graphics are the quality you would expect from Elephant. I prefer more HOS than this game offered. It's much more enjoyable to play a game that has a more realistic theme. The atmosphere as well and I liked globe trotting to different cities aspect. The puzzles are a bit varied, some good and some are so easy they seem pointless. Tastes that way are subjective though. The game seems a bit short to me. The big negatives for me was it is somewhat glitchy. A few areas were very hard to get to respond to screen touches. When it was puzzles requiring a lot of clicks to rotate items it was pretty annoying. The worst thing though was in the bonus play. There is a bug where at the gate before the show down with Chaos you use an amulet and magic by solving an extremely easy jigsaw puzzle. The game keeps kicking you back to the jigsaw with one piece missing. On the Big Fish forums I read several others had this issue as well. I also notice it was an issue for others in the reviews here.
