You can’t scroll down far enough, sometimes it locks you out, freezes, won’t let you start or stop beeping. Oh my god ### 3/5 — Some issues but ok overall *2024-04-26* I have found that when a bunch of people are using the app, it doesn’t work as it normally does. Nothing will load, and a bunch of the input sections start to misplace where you type something in. Very annoying when you need a ride, and apparently everyone else does too at the same time. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. I cannot log in but I have an account. If I don’t remember my username what do I do? I tried logging out of my account on the app and now it won’t let me log in, even though I know for a fact that I am putting the information in correctly. Glitched out on me at ~9:30 on Halloween, couldn’t even queue in. The og version of finding a ride on fb worked better, and that really says a lot. Edit: Reading the review responses from the developer makes me sad to have even downloaded this in the first place. Edit again: The feature I’m looking for is a working application. **Developer response:** Could you at least use the app again before repeatedly leaving 1 star reviews? The app is in working order and we fixed the Halloween stability issue weeks ago. It recently prompted me to update it last time I attempted to beep. Well there was no update available, so I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Well now it says my account doesn’t exist and let me make a new one with my email and info. **Developer response:** Emails and usernames are case sensitive. You may need to check the capitalization. Instead you pay the app for this. Drivers are not rewarded for giving better services. ### 1/5 — Support *2021-10-29* I sent an email a week ago to one of the founders no response and another one later on to the other founder no response from either my account is showing I have 3 riders in my queue and they aren’t even trying to help. He have fixed things before without telling me but now they aren’t even trying to help. **Developer response:** Hey thom2723, your issues should be resolved. ### 1/5 — account *2021-10-10, version 1.0.5* it won’t even let me make an account why ### 1/5 — Developer is taking advantage of people *2021-08-18* The developer of this app made it in order to exploit people trying to make honest money for themselves. His only motivation is to make himself more money at the expense of other App State students and to derail the system of Beepers which has been working flawlessly for years. I have had personal interactions with Banks Nussman where he only looks out for his personal well being at the expense of others in order to gain for himself and take away from others. A boy as childish as this should not be allowed to profit on the backs of hundreds of other college students trying to make themselves enough money to get through the burden of college. **Developer response:** I honestly just feel bad for you ### 2/5 — Needs Work for Driver Support *2025-02-16* While this app is good and a good way for students to either make money or get around, the premium system is unfair. Everyone who has premium pays the same amount, but on nights like saturdays when there are 20 premium beepers, the ones at the bottom of the list don’t get any riders. The developer should have them cycle through every few minutes, that way it’s fair for everyone who pays the exact same amount to get what they are paying for. I’m sick of sitting in parking lots for 30+ minutes with a perfectly good car while the guy at the top has a queue of 10. ### 2/5 — Password Reset *2025-01-18, version 2.14.0* I got a new phone and can’t remember the password to my account. I try to reset it but the reset email never comes and I have no way of creating a new account. ### 2/5 — Good but has problems *2023-02-09, version 2.6.0* The app will not allow me to quit beeping due to riders in my queue when I don’t actually have any at all. We are the beep baddies, we love this app. We have been using it for 2yrs and it’s been honestly our income as students. It is easy, and fun. You meet lots of great people and even some of them come to your birthday party. If you ever need a beep follow us @thebeepbaddies xoxo ### 5/5 — Too much hate for premium *2025-08-29* I’ve been on this app for 2 years and try to only charge about $3 and can come out with $150-$250 a night for like 3-6 hours of work. I don’t understand the hate behind someone making a system to get money from an app they created. Beeping is simplified and more manageable this way. Normally it’s just your phone blowing up and overcrowding your notifications. ### 5/5 — Functional and easy! *2025-04-09* This app is easy and very functional. I wish you could rate your riders after you are done “beeping” them while you have your status as still active and beeping. You have to turn off your status and rate them and if you have to pick someone up after, you don’t get the chance to rate them anymore. It is much easier than the Facebook groups and easier to message, pay, and find beepers all in one spot. I’ve never loved an app more. Every day I beep. It makes money for me. But this is a cheaper option and the app is very user friendly. You can also use your Venmo balance to pay for rides which is very clutch.
