The major issue with the new app is that it will not switch to landscape view! This is a deal breaker. At least there isn’t a paid subscription with this app now. The app works pretty well with my 2023 Norden 901. No issues pairing, the turn by turn feature on the TFT display is great! I like that I can import gps routes. The regulator navigation features are decent and the twisty road option is pretty fantastic! I have noticed that during the gpx import process the app does modify the route slightly, which is a bit of a pain. What I would love to see: -The option to help set the sag on the 901 -An iPad version to allow a larger screen when creating multi day routes -The app to not modify the route on import -Not get stuck to waypoints that are close by, the app gets really confused if you don’t hit the waypoint exactly. ### 1/5 — Useless Nav. Zero Stars. *2025-08-23* I was so excited to have navigation integrated into my 801’s display. Instead what I got was wildly inaccurate map data, app not reading street names at all, forcing me to squint and look at the display instead of where I’m going, and so much lag to make it completely useless and unresponsive in traffic. I couldn’t even navigate back to my own house in my own city. Wildly disappointing. Do better Husqvarna. ### 2/5 — Premium Version unausgereift *2025-08-01* Die App ist an sich in Ordnung. An der Effizienz kann noch gerbeitet werden, da die App deutlich mehr Strom zieht als andere Navigations Apps. Was mich aber sehr enttäuscht hat ist die Premium Version. Ich hätte gerne einen funktionierenden Gpx import gehabt. Allerdings war das bei einer 500km Tour nicht möglich und die App stürzt immer ab. At some point the app stops updating and gets stuck in one spot until I pull over and fully close the app. I’m paying a subscription to a broken service. Blöderweise unterstützt die App nicht die automatische Bildschirmdrehung, damit ist sie im Querformat nicht nutzbar. Im Vergleich zur vorherigen NaviEngine von Sygic ist das update darüberhinaus aber auch generell ein echter Rückschritt. Bzgl. An added bonus is that customer service is pretty quick and easy to contact. Give it some patience, love and you’ll get along with this app just fine. If disconnect the bike from the app, or improves, however it is inconvenient to pair the bike every time. Allerdings: Leider kann ich nicht von der App aus auf das Kartenmaterial der bereits seit Jahren von mir benutzten Sygic-Navigations-App zugreifen, obwohl die Navigation in der Ride-App genau die selbe SW benutzt. Ich bin also gezwungen, das Kartenmaterial doppelt herunterzuladen, wenn ich auf dem Motorrad navigieren will. Telefon-Speicher-Effizienz also ausgeschlossen.
