## What is Ride Meter?

Ride Meter turns your iPhone into a worldwide taxi fare meter — and even makes the screen look like a REAL dashboard taximeter.

Select a city or country and Ride Meter calculates the running fare in real time from your GPS, using the real, official metered tariff for that place: the flag-fall, the per-distance rate, waiting time in traffic, day/night and holiday tariffs, and common surcharges.
