They post unrelated posts on social media and they don’t even respond to questions about what cities they are active. ### 2/5 — Cannot schedule a ride on the go *2020-12-10, version 5.0.7* Unlike other ride share services, you cannot immediately schedule a ride. You need to wait one hour. Too many glitches too. Safr kept texting me the same text over and over. Also, I want to know my fate ahead of time. I couldn’t even deactivate my account because it kept asking me over and over to re-set my account. I don’t Uber alone. I was in Orlando and had to take one by myself so I signed up for Safr. Tried scheduling a ride and was told the nearest appointment was an hour from now. I canceled my trip and called an Uber. I was lucky and got a female driver. The Safr concept is a great idea but it did not work for me. ### 2/5 — Verification *2020-07-15, version 1.8.12* I continue being told i need an email verification to be taken anywhere yet i’m not receiving the email . ### 1/5 — Don’t be fooled *2020-02-26, version 1.8.6* What a joke! You sign up enter credit card info. Verify account and phone number. The. You book a ride like uber or Lyft.....and the driver never arrives! I think it’s only Boston but they never tell you that. Very dishonest ### 3/5 — Can't change your phone number *2020-01-23, version 1.8.4* Can't edit or change your phone number or email address which is stupid. So I have to get a new phone I have to create a new account just for that number & create a new email address just specifically for your app. Which is nonsensical. Also it's not available in New Jersey. But overall I like the idea of the app but it’s not in my area of New York City/NJ. Especially after my girlfriend told me she doesn't like Uber or Lyft and would never take one because she doesn't trust the male drivers especially with all of the sexual harassment lawsuits happening in those companies. ### 1/5 — It just. Doesn't work. At all. *2019-12-26, version 1.8.2* I signed up. Fine. I put in all my info. Fine. I try to input a destination and it just loads and loads and loads. I deactivate my account to try to reopen it in hopes it'll work. I have to email to get it reactivated. I created an account on this app a while ago and never used it. Now I would like to delete it in accordance with GDPR. Nowhere can I find the contact data or privacy policy online. I tried logging into the app with my phone number but there is a bug and the format is not accepted even though it is correct for my country. This is ridiculous , someone please contact me. ### 1/5 — Wouldn’t even let me sign up. *2023-07-09, version 6.3.4* I downloaded the app tried to sign up, got as far as terms and conditions page and at the bottom of the page you check the box to where you agree then you click on the red bar that says sign up. Unfortunately, I’ve tried this 5x and it keeps coming up with an error message stating that the header code is not found. That page won’t let me go any further. So unfortunately, I can’t sign up for this app. Not usable! ### 1/5 — Can’t even create account *2023-06-07, version 6.3.2* I downloaded the app and entered my phone number. It then tells me to enter the security code sent via text. Problem is, no code is sent no matter how many times I press “resend code.” ### 1/5 — can’t start up *2023-06-05, version 6.3.2* I’m in the Boston area where the service supposedly works. I can’t tell, because the app won’t even text me a code when it claims to, so I can log in. ### 1/5 — Can’t access *2023-05-02, version 6.3.0* I tapped sign in but it won’t let me. It keeps trying to create an account. I tried to create a new account but it won’t let me because it has my email. Because I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT. So I used a different email but then it wouldn’t let me because it has my phone number, again because I already have an account. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling but it made no difference. I only have one phone number, so I guess I won’t be using this app. ### 1/5 — Cannot correct phone number and no confirmation email! *2022-05-03, version 5.0.19* It says the incorrect phone number is confirmed, and you cannot fix this. It also has yet to confirm my email. I want this to work. I fear I have a fake app from the apple store?? Help! ### 1/5 — Does not work *2022-03-30, version 5.0.19* I have reached out several times and get no response. They have my credit card info and have not confirmed my email address to spite requesting to get a code several times and using the “help” link. I can’t use the app or change anything or get in contact with anyone. Then, I tried to deactivate my account but the keyboard provided was purposefully blocking the deactivate button. I have had wayyyy too many negative experiences with creepy old men hitting on me, asking for my number, inquiring about my relationship status, and so much more. I am just about done with Lyft and Uber. Unfortunately, Safr is not available in MD yet. It was easy for me to make an account and register, love the convenience of a safer cab app option!
