### 2/5 — Not useful

*2021-08-25, version 1.0.5*

If you already know what stop and route you need this would be fine but when you put in your location and destination nothing happens and it doesn’t tell you which routes would work, what time the bus comes, or how long the trip would be. Overall just not helpful

### 2/5 — Fix the bus times please

*2019-09-14, version 1.0.4*

It works fine but the bust times are often messed up which is the whole point of the app

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2017-10-09, version 1.0.3*

My trip planner doesn't work. It's such a glitchy app. Who works on these things? Update it!!!!

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2017-03-29, version 1.0.1*

It just crashes when it opens. It's too bad, really.

### 1/5 — Broke in a lot of places.

*2016-03-21, version 1.0.1*

If I open the alerts on the map there is no way to dismiss the slide down sheet. I have to force quit the app. Buses take forever to show on the map. If I hit the locator icon, it complains that I need to enable location services and be within the transfort boundary. Both are actually true on my device and my location, but the app can't seem to handle the truth. Improving this app would literally transform how people use this bus system.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2015-10-06, version 1.0.1*

The app does a horrible job. Does not have routes available to see and it doesn't even tell you where are the bus locations....

### 1/5 — Doesn't help at all

*2015-09-14, version 1.0.1*

I would rather text 41411 with the stop number for estimated arrival than use the app.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2015-06-16, version 1.0.1*

Too slow and totally useless. You can't track just a single route and you must sign up to use the features

### 1/5 — Not so useful

*2015-03-13, version 1.0.1*

The information in this app would be MUCH more useful if it were embedded in google maps transit data.

### 1/5 — should be zero star

*2015-03-05, version 1.0.1*

Every single page of the app freezes. Frustrated, I went to the desktop version, only to watch for 20 minutes as 4 buses, either "2 minutes away" or "approaching", vanished from the map when they got to about a block from my stop. No wonder Transfort can't follow schedule - the buses keep disappearing!

### 2/5 — Max doesn't work

*2015-01-04, version 1.0.1*

There's no timing for the max line, just shows "NA". Disappointing.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Great until it wasn’t

*2026-02-19, version 1.1.2*

The app has worked well the first few times I’ve used it. Now after about 2 months, I just get error messages and cannot even get past the first loading screen. I find the app helpful, but only when it actually works of course.

### 1/5 — Half useless

*2025-12-01, version 1.1.2*

This app was clearly designed by someone who does not use transit. Google maps is much more useful, I only use this app to double check where the bus is

### 1/5 — new update

*2025-01-21, version 1.1.2*

new update is such a disappointment and downgrade from the previous one. app is laggy and does not show accurate times. the other version was simple and accurate to use.

### 1/5 — Not helpful

*2024-09-02, version 1.0.5*

Apple Maps is much better but just doesn’t have holiday schedules.

### 1/5 — Useless App

*2024-08-20, version 1.0.5*

The transit system here is terrible, and their app is somehow even worse.

### 1/5 — Unacceptably Useless

*2024-01-15, version 1.0.5*

This app has so many issues and quirks that make it functionally useless. I’m just going to list them out:

- in the current release, every time you click a drop down menu, the app crashes. Lots of functions of the app have to do with drop downs. Functions that simply don’t work due to this bug: Trip Planner, Stop Selector, the Feedback Page, Favorites

- when you click on a bus stop from the home page, you should be able to see the route schedule for that stop. People don’t typically need to see only when the next bus arrives, since when using this function they are planning ahead.

- there should be an option to turn all routes on and view all the buses running in real time, as well as clear indicators if there’s anything different about each route

- this app should be easier to use than Google Maps for this function, but it’s literally easier to plan a trip on transfort with Google.

- more of a Transfort complaint instead of an app complaint, but the buses should each arrive at the CSU transit center at least five minutes before the hour or half hour. More students would use this service if they could actually use it to get to class on time, other staff at CSU as well. I hate having an 8 am and the only options available to me are to arrive at campus like 45 minutes before class or 10 minutes after class starts.

### 1/5 — Please help

*2020-02-12, version 1.0.4*

The app does its job well but EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the app to check for my bus it gives me the entire tutorial again. I have never once hit the button asking for a tutorial. This is incredibly annoying

### 1/5 — Pretty unreliable

*2019-08-27, version 1.0.4*

Times are often incorrect. Sometimes the buses just glitch out of existence.

### 1/5 — Completely Useless

*2018-02-05, version 1.0.3*

Update: After using this app for a couple years I would like to reiterate that’s it’s still lacking reliability. The owner of the app is ignoring the obvious errors and the horrible comments listed up and down here.

Freezes, stops working or doesn't load at all. A complete waste of time. It cannot be used to plan a trip and you'll miss your bus if you use it because the busses don't always appear on the map.

### 1/5 — This app is annoying.

*2017-12-06, version 1.0.3*

I rely on buses to get to and from school but every time I open the app it takes me through the intro and takes forever to get through. Also it never memorizes the routes I want displayed and I have to go back through each time to pick them out.
Can someone do something about this?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-01-23, version 1.1.2*

Only the homeless people with all kinds of ridiculous problems have issues with this app. I’ve used it a ton of times and it’s great

### 5/5 — CSU Student

*2018-08-28, version 1.0.3*

I find this really helpful when trying to navigate my route on and off campus! I find the times are reliable and it is very easy to figure out and plan rides.

### 5/5 — Great rider tool

*2015-10-05, version 1.0.1*

Love the app. There's a deep level of functionality that takes a while to discover but once you do it becomes an indispensable tool for real time info and planning. Ability to establish favorites and create automatic arrival alerts are super useful.

### 5/5 — Useful

*2014-06-05, version 1.0*

App is easy to use and actually has a lot of features.

### 4/5 — Meh

*2019-06-23, version 1.0.4*

Not always accurate and crashes sometimes but when it works it is really useful I as a person who dose not have a car find it insanely useful to get around town with this app and my bike because you can take bikes out n lots of the buses

### 4/5 — Good app for commuters

*2015-06-09, version 1.0.1*

I’ve been able to talk my kids to and from places around town by telling them the bus is about to arrive, when to get off the bus, etc. I like the ability to tell where the routes go too!

### 3/5 — Meh

*2019-04-28, version 1.0.3*

When it works it works well but often crashes and arrival times mess up.

### 3/5 — Where’s the bus? Location services a no go

*2015-06-16, version 1.0.1*

Enen with location services enabled, it will not work. I get an error popup about enabling geolocation and being in Transfort boundaries. I’m at Mason/DTC. I’ve tried reseting, disabling, re-enabling, enabling only when app in use, enabling always, and no luck on iPad or iPhone…Verizon, WIFI is on and connected. This used to work last year, but not on new iOS…currently using iOS 8.3.

### 2/5 — Problems

*2024-09-14, version 1.0.5*

In person interaction (or by phone) is exceptionally great! This app is not. I’ve been trying for 20 minutes to just see the schedule for a certain route but nothing is working. Can’t plan a trip. Can’t see when school breaks are and bus isn’t running. Even though I “got” the app, I can’t get the icon to show up on my phone. Back to the drawing board, please. If this worked, it would be fantastic.

### 2/5 — Pretty good but a few app breaking bugs

*2023-10-17, version 1.0.5*

It works for what it is, but when I try to change the type of alerts in the Alerts tab, (ie the email/text drop down) it just crashes so please fix that bug thanks :)
