Ride285 pulls MARTA’s train and bus data into one clean, live map — vehicle positions, arrivals, nearby stops, and service alerts, all in one place instead of juggling MARTA’s official app and a transit aggregator separately. The Riding Mode (following your vehicle and upcoming stops) and per-line delay surfacing are nice touches for daily commuters, and Favorites makes checking your regular route a one-tap affair.

It’s free, collects no data per its privacy listing, and is a small independent build (Siembra Labs, not MARTA-affiliated) — so it’s naturally dependent on MARTA’s public GTFS/GTFS-Realtime feeds, meaning arrivals can lag or drop out if MARTA’s own data does. As a lightweight, no-nonsense companion for Atlanta transit riders, it’s a solid, privacy-friendly option worth trying.
