## What is RideKC GO?

The RideKC Go mobile application allows you to pay for Ridekc trips (Kansas City, MO) by purchasing your pass, activating it and scanning at the Validators.  Simply go to the Buy screen from your My Passes page to purchase period passes or add funds to your account.
For passengers eligible for discount fares, a valid RideKC identification card is required to use the discount fare payment method.

I wish I could give it a -1, the app is okay itself but overall the whole concept is terrible. This stupid thing logged me out my account and they wouldn’t let me on the bus because of it. The app has been on my phone since this silly policy came out and all of a sudden I wasn’t logged in anymore which is so frustrating especially since you can use cash anymore. So wherever you have to go no matter how important or non important u just have to deal with the consequences. This city, mayor, and system is greedy. They don’t really care about the citizens like they say they do. Only care about a false presentation and a good looking reputation. Do better.

Absolute trash of an app with friction every step of the way. Hideously designed. Makes me really sad to live in this city. I’m going to take an Uber or Lyft instead.

downloads fine but the verification email needs to actually do anything never goes out no matter how many times you resend it. this rollout (that no one asked for) has been a disaster.

Unable to buy a pass in the app with any of my credit or debit cards. Not that it’s any surprise that they rolled out the new fares with an app that doesn’t work when half of the buses i have ridden on didn’t even have the fare machines installed yet. It’s one thing to do the bare minimum when the service being provided is free but when you’re expecting me to pay, I’m expecting something, anything in return.
