The RideLink WingMan is your digital companion and guardian angel for your next motorbike adventure. As an intelligent control unit, the WingMan is permanently installed in the motorbike and offers a wide range of useful functions in conjunction with the RideLink App. The RideLink WingMan ensures your safety with the automatic accident alarm and the digital theft protection. In addition, the most important riding data, such as your cornering position and acceleration, are recorded.

The WingMan perfectly complements the app and offers you the following functions*:

Route Planner: You can easily plan and save a route with the app or on the web. In addition to route planning via waypoints or POIs, you can also plan a round trip with just a few clicks. You can either ride the routes immediately or save them for later.

Journey: You can plan a motorbike tour in just a few steps. You choose a nice route, set the day and time. Afterwards, all your friends are automatically informed about the Journey.

Group navigation: You can easily ride your next tour with our navigation. You can also invite your friends to a group navigation. During the ride, the app shows each participant on the map and navigates you safely to your shared destination.

Live Tracking: Record your routes and share your location in real time with friends and family. This way, those at home are less worried and you have recorded the entire route at the same time.

Rides: View your recorded rides in the rides at your leisure. You get comprehensive evaluations of your rides and can review your ride in 3D as a video.

Tours database: You can experience your rides again as a tour at any time. You can also share your tours in the community and choose from hundreds of tours. The app offers you over 800 tours from tour riders for a fee.

Community: You can network in the community and create your own groups. You can find out where your friends are at any time and arrange to go on a tour with them.
Motorbike garage: You can create as many vehicles as you like in the garage and record data. 


Accident alarm*: Maximise your safety with RideLink's emergency call function. The system uses a special algorithm to detect an accident and sends an emergency call to the connected 247 Accident Reporting Centre. The accident reporting centre then automatically sends an ambulance to the transmitted accident location and tries to reach you on the phone at the same time.


Theft Detector*: Once the RideLink WingMan is connected to the motorbike battery and permanently installed on your bike, the highly sensitive sensors can detect any movement on your motorbike. If your motorbike starts moving unintentionally, you will automatically receive a warning message on your smartphone.

Driving analysis*: Record all data such as position, speed, acceleration and lean angle. If you have your smartphone in a mobile phone holder, live selected ride data is displayed. After the ride, you can view all the details in the app or on the web at your leisure.

OBD2*: The WingMan has an integrated OBD2 connection that allows you to read out vehicle data very easily. You get access to a lot of exciting data from your motorbike, which we are continuously expanding.

### 5/5 — Hervorragendes System zur Standortermittlung und zum Diebstahlschutz

Ich bin extrem zufrieden mit RideLink. Die GPS-Standortbestimmung funktioniert absolut präzise. Besonders praktisch ist die Funktion, Live-Tracking-Links direkt an Familie oder Freunde zu senden, damit diese die Fahrt mitverfolgen können.
Auch der Diebstahlalarm arbeitet hervorragend und sehr empfindlich: Selbst wenn ich mich selbst auf das Motorrad setze, schlägt das Smartphone sofort Alarm. Da das Motorrad selbst dabei stumm bleibt und nur das Telefon warnt, steigen die Chancen enorm, einen potenziellen Dieb auf frischer Tat zu ertappen.
Die Notruffunktion (eCall) ist für mich besonders wertvoll, da ich selbst schon einen schweren Motorradunfall hatte und weiß, wie essenziell schnelle Hilfe ist. Das System stellt im Ernstfall zuverlässig den Kontakt zur Rettungsleitstelle her. Ein kleiner Verbesserungswunsch für zukünftige App-Updates wäre eine Option, bei der nach dem Notruf automatisch auch vordefinierte Notfallkontakte (Familienangehörige) benachrichtigt werden.
Die Installation war denkbar einfach und die gesamte Qualität des Produkts überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Absolute Empfehlung!

Die App ist wirklich gut und Tracks viele informative Werte - schon ohne einen „Wingman“
In Verbindung mit dem am Bike verbauten Tracker wird es dann richtig gut. Ich denke ein Muss für jeden leidenschaftlichen Biker.
Läuft auch super stabil und zuverlässig.

Die App und das Gerät funktionieren einwandfrei. Die Alarmempfindlichkeit des Gerätes ist relativ gering. Ich denke nicht, dass es jemanden gelingen würde, das Gerät auszubauen, ohne dass es einen Alarm auslöst. Die App zeichnet alle Touren perfekt auf. Alles ist gut gegliedert und einfach zu benutzen. Ich benutze den Wingman.

Die RideLink App ist fast perfekt. Ich nutze den kleinen Wingman und die Tireguards, der Support ist immer bemüht. der Wingman wurde zweimal problemlos ausgetauscht.
Die Navigation ist okay, führt aber teilweise über schon lange gesperrte Straßen. Auch die Challenges funktionieren nicht immer, Gutscheine lassen sich teils nicht einlösen.
Insgesamt bin ich aber sehr zufrieden und gespannt auf den Wingman Pro EVO.

Bin ein Neuling der die Reifendrucksensoren benutzt, es ist schon sehr schön das das Widget jetzt bei CarPlay integriert ist. Noch besser wäre es wenn die App bei CarPlay nutzbar wäre,insbesondere die Navigation. Denke viele nutzen mittlerweile ein Carpuride oder ähnliches. Da bleibt das Handy in der Tasche, und diese nette Funktion Tanken/Pinkeln ist dann natürlich nicht nutzbar 😉. Wenn das noch kommt würde ich die Navigation öfter nutzen, solange bleibt es dann doch Apple Karten auf dem Carpuride W603. Sonst bin ich sehr zufrieden 😃

Durch den Einfluss Dritter habe ich mein Moped geerdet. Der Notruf wurde ausgelöst und ich kontaktiert. Das alles sehr Zeitnah. Die Helfer am Telefon waren sehr nett und kompetent. 
Die App an sich funktioniert sehr gut und Stabil. Mir wird jetzt wo das Moped in der Werkstatt steht jede Bewegung gemeldet. Sehr zuverlässig und unaufdringlich.
Ich kann das System sehr empfehlen.

Ich nutze die App in Verbindung mit einem Wingman pro im Motorrad verbaut.
Die automatische Fahrtaufzeichnung, eCall, Diebstahlwarnung damit funktionieren sehr gut.
Dazu habe ich auch noch die Reifendruckkontrolle, die aber leider NICHT während der aktiven Navigation zu sehen ist.
Insgesamt ist der Navigationsteil noch stark verbesserungsfähig (findet viele Orte nicht auf Anhieb, hat keine Favoriten, selbst nach Hause muss immer wieder neu eingegeben werden)
Interessant sind die Möglichkeiten der Gruppennavigation, dass die Fahrenden sich gegenseitig auf der Karte sehen können.

Ich habe dieses Gerät seit circa dreieinhalb Jahren, nach anfänglichen Startschwierigkeiten funktioniert es tadellos, ich gehe immer angezeigt, wo mein Motorrad ist und wo andere Biker rumfahren, habe sehr viel Spaß an dem Gerät und der App, würde ich jederzeit wieder machen ☺️💪🏼

Mit der Version 16 der RideLink App wird die Routen Neuberechnung bei z.B. Umleitungen sehr verbessert. Die Optionen dafür sind etwas im Menü versteckt. Die Navigation mit der App wird immer besser und frostfreier. Wenn die Entwicklungsgeschwindigkeit so bleibt ist die App eine gute Konkurrenz zu etablierten Mitbewerbern für die Motorradnavigation. Luft nach oben gibts noch viel, POI’s wären noch eine gute Idee. Viel Erfolg und innovative Einfälle für das RideLink Team für die weitere Zeit.

**Developer response:** Ja, die Luft nach oben ist noch da, aber wir sind dran! Jetzt ist die erste Version der POI schon mal am Start, aber da kommen noch mehr Funktionen rund um das Thema POI, Routenplanung und Navigation. In der Saison 2025 wird es spannend für uns alle :-)
