## What is RideReady?

RideReady is a simple app that tells you whether today is worth riding. It reads the hourly forecast where you are and scores the day from 0 to 100, so you get one number instead of a page of charts.

Open the breakdown to see what cost points and what didn't. Wind, heat, rain, UV, air quality and daylight are all weighed, and every deduction is shown with a reason.

RideReady also finds the best hour to leave, working around when you like to ride, the temperature you're comfortable in, how much wind you'll take, and whether you ride after dark.

The checklist packs itself for the forecast. Cold morning, it adds layers. Rain later, it adds a shell. Long ride in heat, it adds water.

Before you set off, start a check-in timer and let a contact know you're riding. Miss the check-in and the app reminds you. A Live Activity keeps the timer on your Lock Screen while you ride.

Keep your bikes in the garage with their service history, so you know what you've replaced and when.

Add the widget to see today's score and departure time without opening the app.

No account. No sign-up. No analytics. No ads. Your bikes, routes, checklists and contacts stay on your device.

iCloud sync. Your bikes, rides and service history now follow you to every
device signed in to the same Apple Account. Nothing to set up and no account to
create — Settings tells you whether it is working.

Repairs. Twenty-one Park Tool guides for flats, chains, shifting, brakes,
wheels and general maintenance, in the Garage.

Hour by hour. Tap any day in The Week Ahead to see how the conditions move
through it, with sunrise and sunset marked.

Shorter rides. Ride length now goes down to 15 minutes, so a commute or a shop
run gets scored as the ride it actually is.

Your checklist, your words. Rename any item, and name the list itself —
"Commute", "Long ride", whatever it is to you.

Forecast times now display in the clock of the place being forecast, not the
one your phone happens to be in.

Weather icons now follow the actual sky rather than the temperature.

Fixes from your launch-week reports. Thank you for sending them.

Units now apply everywhere. Switching to Imperial changed only the
Settings screen — Today, Routes, Garage and the widget stayed metric.
Every distance, speed, temperature and elevation in the app now
follows your preference.

Temperatures always show their scale. A feels-like reading of "85–87°"
never appears without an F or a C after it.

Corrected ride scoring. If your Sweet Spot is longer than two hours,
the last part of your ride was described but never scored — which
could show 70% rain chance labelled "Ideal" beneath a card telling you
not to ride. The score and the conditions breakdown now cover the same
hours.

START RIDE explains itself. Without an emergency contact the ride is
refused, but the explanation often failed to appear and the button
looked broken. The reason is now shown at the top of the screen, and
the contacts section is brought into view.

Best Start no longer overlaps Sweet Spot beside it at larger text
sizes.

Your support ID now lives in About with a copy button, so it's on hand
if you need to write to us — and off the main Settings screen if you
don't.
