RiderEgypt is a closed community for Egypt's motorcyclists. Every member is invited by a rider who already vouches for them, so the people you meet here are the people you ride with. RIDE TOGETHER Create a ride, set the meeting point, and watch the seats fill. Every ride has a countdown, a route with real distance, and a formation board where riders take their place in the pack before anyone turns a key. When the ride goes live, the pack appears on a map in real time — who is out front, who has dropped back, who has not left yet. Riders who are not coming can still watch. WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG The SOS button is two taps from anywhere in the app. It alerts verified riders near you with your position so they can reach you, and it opens your emergency card — blood type, allergies, the medical notes you chose to store, and the person you want called. If you stop moving while a ride is live, the app checks on you first and raises the alarm if you cannot answer. RiderEgypt alerts other riders. It is not a replacement for the emergency services, and it never will be. Call 123. CLUBS Find your club or start one. Club chat has mentions, replies, reactions and photos. Owners set who can join, which bikes fit the club, and who leads. YOUR RIDING LIFE A profile that keeps score: rides, kilometres, rides led, and the badges you earn along the way. Post photos, tag the riders who were there, and share snaps that disappear after a day. Follow the riders you like. BUILT AROUND PRIVACY, NOT AROUND ADVERTISING Your location is OFF until you turn it on, and it stops when you say so — never in the background without your knowledge. You choose exactly who sees you: a few friends, your club, or every verified rider, and you can pick how precise that is — your street, your area, or your exact position. Photos are visible to verified riders only and never become public links. Medical information is readable by you alone. Block anyone, and they disappear from your feed, your map, your clubs and your messages, in both directions, without being told. ARABIC AND ENGLISH The whole app, both languages, with proper right-to-left layout. Not a translation bolted on afterwards. RiderEgypt is invite only. If you do not have a code, ask a rider who does. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-24 RiderEgypt has been redesigned around the ride. - A clearer five-tab layout makes rides, the map, community, and your profile easier to reach. - Ride planning now guides you through route and stops, details, riders, and a final review. - Motorcycle-aware routes use RiderEgypt's protected routing service and clearly label route availability. - Live rides are map-first, with clearer pack, camera, formation, family-sharing, and organiser controls. - Ride and club conversations have a cleaner inbox, better unread states, replies, reactions, and failure recovery. - Profiles, onboarding, clubs, invitations, search, settings, Medical ID, emergency contacts, and SOS screens now share one consistent bilingual design. - Animations respect Reduce Motion, and loading or network failures no longer pretend that confirmed data is empty. Arabic and English, right to left, as always. Ride safe. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-25 The ride is now a place, not just a time. RIDE CHAT - Every ride has its own thread. Where you are, when you're leaving, which petrol station to regroup at ‚Äî in the ride, not lost in a group chat with four other conversations running through it. - Reply to a message, edit or delete your own, and see new messages arrive as they're sent. The rides list shows how many you haven't read. - It's for the people on the ride: the riders who joined and the organiser. Someone watching the live map isn't in the pack, so they aren't in the conversation. DECIDE WHO RIDES WITH YOU - Organisers can now ask riders to request a place instead of joining instantly. Turn it on when you create or edit the ride; leave it off and joining works exactly as it always has. - You see who asked and decide. They're told the moment you say yes. - Nobody joins a ride you vetted without your approval ‚Äî that rule lives in the database, not just in the app. WHEN YOU RAISE AN SOS - The alert now tells you what's actually happening: how many devices it reached, how many riders said they're coming, and how many have arrived. Numbers we can prove, and nothing we can't ‚Äî if we're still counting, it says so instead of showing you a zero. - Stand down stays at the top of the screen. If you're fine, you shouldn't have to scroll to say it. - Riders answering an alert now see the emergency card straight away: blood type, allergies, and one person to call, with the Call button next to the number. If any of it can't be read, the card says so rather than showing a blank that looks like "nothing to worry about". Arabic and English, right to left, as always.
