I love the ability to review what, when, and where improvements can be made. The app is pretty polish. I have been using it for two weeks and haven’t noticed any major negatives yet. However the app also incentivizes you to drive through yellow lights rather than stop quickly so I think it’s neutral on making me a safer driver. The big negative is that my insurance company said I would get a discount for using the app and an additional discount if I was rated a safe driver. Well I am in the top 10% of drivers with a 99% score and my insurance company just notified me that I do not qualify for a discount of any kind. It has been that way for years. So I always get tagged for speeding there but rarely on roads where the limit is reasonable ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — THIS APP IS A SCAM *2025-05-13, version 1.1.0* So my wife and I started using the app about 2 1/2 months ago. We have both consistently had average scores of 97-100 for nearly the entire time and certainly the last 6 weeks. Yesterday, May 12, 2025 my “two-week average score” was a 98 and my wife’s was 100. Today mine mysteriously dropped to a 63 and hers to a 53 for a two -week average - this is overnight! This is mathematically impossible. Mighty shady that we are about two weeks away from the end of the three-month period that determines if and how much discount we will receive on our insurance premiums and our scores drop 35 and 47 points overnight. I’ve spoken to my insurance company reps who basically blew me off saying they don’t determine the scores. I’ve emailed the company who owns this app but haven’t heard back yet. What a farce this is. I wouldn’t waste your time with this app if this is how they operate. ### 1/5 — App *2025-03-02, version 1.1.0* Miserable trying to login as a new user. Activation code sent, received and disappeared before I could enter it. Apparently it counts using my phone to stream music as “usage” and penalizes for distraction. Also not even accurate when it’s me driving. This happens on the launch screen either when tapping new user or existing user. Can the developer please help? ### 1/5 — Drains Phone Battery Fast *2023-07-17* On my drive to the airport this app was running the whole time even though I was just riding and arrived at the airport with 60% battery even though my phone never left my pocket.
