Quick answer, no. Tried to use it to level a stove. First your case will mess it up. Even without a case, it indicated level when I can see it’s not. No surprise as the others were the same. ### 3/5 — Not precise enough for me *2022-01-22* Only displays to whole numbers. I need .1 degree display. Works well if you don’t mind being off by up to .5 degrees. ### 3/5 — Pictures don’t have gps location *2021-03-21* This is a nice app, but sadly I’m still searching for a better one. I use this type of tool to measure slopes every day. It’s great that I can take a picture of what I’m measuring with the slope bar superimposed over the image and save to my photos (with permission of course). But it fails in the the gps location is not encoded with the photo so that I can then do a PLACE search in iPhoto to find this data later. ### 2/5 — Cannot Calibrate *2019-12-26* The way this app is designed requires a completely flat surface to “calibrate” the app. However, all this truly does is zero the level. To calibrate is a multi-step procedure which involves taking a reading, then rotating the device 180 degrees and taking another reading, the device should then be able to calculate a true zero. However, the procedure used by this app will only read as level as the surface one zeros the app on. Yet there is no way to know if that surface truly is level. ### 2/5 — Does not support vertical / plumb use. *2018-11-04* Can not use in the vertical / plumb in any way, only horizontally and angles. ### 4/5 — Wish it would show grade per foot *2017-06-14, version 2.2* I like the app. I did not have a level when my son in law want to install a mail post. It worked good enough to set it plum. But I am a plumber so if it would show me grade per foot it would be more useful to me. By our code 2" drains need a minimum of 1/4" pitch per foot and 3" is 1/8" pitch per foot. Maybe you can add that option. ### 3/5 — Great functionality but doesn't save cal *2016-02-05* This is the nicest level app I have used, and the features from using in all 3 axis, to the photo level are all great. It also has a calibration function, however it does not save the cal between uses. This makes the calibration useless. My iphone accelerometer is off by 1 degree so any app that does not save cal, is very limited ### 3/5 — Current Version Crashes Frequently *2015-03-12, version 2.0* Impressed with the concept and the new improvements! I don't mind the new update just add the screen to get back to the old screen. When I needed to get 35 degrees and didn't have a protractor it worked great. I'm sure it's not 99.9 perfect but it's really close. Make sure your case isn't throwing it off.
