About

Explore guitar chords, hear their voicings, and see how individual notes move. RiffAlly Chord Explorer is the new name for RiffAlly Harmony. Your favorites, recent chords, tuning, and fretboard appearance stay with the same app. CHORD ATLAS • Explore 372 chord and root combinations across 31 chord colors • Search by chord symbol, musical feeling, or compatible scale • See intervals inside guitar shapes and compare generated voicings • Hear the selected chord and save favorites VOICING PATH • Begin with your Atlas chord and build a longer progression without a four-chord limit • Hear three suggestions before choosing the next chord, or choose any chord yourself • Compare a suggestion with your previous chord without leaving the chooser • Choose a suggestion key without changing the chords already in your Path • Change, remove, and reorder chords while keeping at least one • Follow note movement across guitar strings in a scrollable grid • Play the whole path with tempo and loop controls, or audition one chord • Look for a short “Leads back to…” note on a suitable suggestion for supported starting chords Path drafts remain available while you explore the app, but are not saved across app termination. CHORD MORPH • Start with your actual Atlas chord, grip, and tuning • Choose a sounding tone and explore named alternatives • Compare before and after, or hear the change • See which string positions change and which stay in place Morph shapes show the musical change; comfortable reach and fingerings are not guaranteed. BUILT FOR GUITAR Choose Standard, half-step down, Drop D, Drop C, DADGAD, Open D, or Open G tuning. Select Light Maple, Medium Walnut, or Dark Ebony fretboards in Information & Support. Core chord exploration and synthesized audio work on your device without an account. The app has no advertising and collects no data. The in-app guide explains the controls, and Information & Support connects you to the RiffAlly family, feedback, sharing, and optional tips. Tips unlock nothing; Apple handles payment.

What's New in RiffAlly Chord Explorer

1.2

September 22, 2026

RiffAlly Harmony is now RiffAlly Chord Explorer. Your favorites and preferences stay in place. Build longer chord progressions, remove or reorder cards, and use a clearer Play/Stop control. Preview suggested next chords, with a short note when a suggestion can lead back to the first chord. Chord Morph now explores one-tone changes from your selected Atlas shape and tuning. Hear the previous chord right inside the next-chord chooser. The clearer Suggestion key label explains how to guide the recommendations, while Choose any chord instead lets you pick your own.
