Now it regularly freezes when trying to edit a rig and when connected to the profiler player it doesn’t display the options under each effect. It regularly crashes (if it even connects in the first place). I really expected more from a brand like Kemper. The app is miles behind something like Quad Cortex. I bout the profiler player and the power kabinet, but the lack of working app makes this setup almost useless…. ### 3/5 — Confusing wifi and mobile app set up *2024-06-24* For the profiler player, I was frustrated when the mobile app would not connect. It turns out you have to first load rig manager on computer with usb and then from the computer edit the wifi setup and store the ssid and password. Once that is done then change the phone or ipad wifi to match what you input. This is weird and counter intuitive. Once your network is resolved the mobile app will work. I would like to see the apps show factory and community rigs but it will only show installed rigs. You can install rigs using the desktop rig manager via usb. Again, weird but since the Player device has no screen, necessary. ### 1/5 — Does not connect *2024-06-06, version 1.7.2* This app will not connect to my Kemper access point like everyone says it should. Keeps saying the app needs to have access to devices on the network but it doesn’t show in my apps list to give permissions. It’s like the app isn’t on my iOS at all. ### 3/5 — One key feature still needed *2024-05-22, version 1.7.2* Love this and purposely got a PoE switch so I could use this app with the Remote. But the Rig browsing is awful. Need to be able to select from a full list, not just next/previous. I think you can explain it in a simpler way but to manage your rigs through the App of your smartphone you have to select your device from the WIFI options not from the bluetooth!!! You have to think the player like it is some kind of wifi signal you have to reach! Here’s THE BEST advice: USE THE CAMERA ON YOUR IPHONE TO READ THE QR CODE on your Kemper Stage NOT THE QR SCANNER! The QR scanner won’t connect with it. Ainsi, le RIG MANAGER de l’iPad trouve tout son intérêt. Il suffit de se connecter sur le réseau créé par le Kemper et l’iPad affiche l’interface du RIG MANAGER. There is some ancient version still on my oc somewhere, and for some reason, that creates conflicts with the updated version. I can’t find or remove the old version.
