Unfortunately, the app hangs and crashes if I attempt to autofill my password while signing in. ### 3/5 — Good, but so much more potential *2026-01-20, version 2.12.0* I like this app, but there are very simple things that are pretty frustrating. For example, there is no back button on mobile app when you click into accounts/investments. Instead, you have to kill and restart the app. I’ve learned to build that into workflow, but man it would be much better if easy UI/UX things like that were addressed. ### 3/5 — Buggy. *2025-10-31, version 2.12.0* When you click on any account on your home screen, there is no way to get back to the Home Screen. ### 2/5 — Very Limited *2024-12-31* After spending 20 hours on it I moved back to spreadsheets. This app has a long way to go to live up to its potential. Core functionalities feel unfinished and unintuitive (Creating and comparing plans, budgeting). On top of that, the app somehow misjudges Vanguard funds asset allocation, seemingly defaulting to US stock for mixed asset funds. ### 3/5 — Needs work *2024-08-31, version 2.7.1* Sign in is awkward on iPhone ( why not just face recognition) and for the years I have used I have found no way to delete/edit an account. I don’t want to have to contact my financial planner whenever something changes in minor financial ways which is often. ### 3/5 — Ok *2024-03-28, version 2.5.0* Needs Face ID to log in. The text is way too big and makes it hard to read as some numbers and text get cut off (they don't fit on screen ). I agree with others that outside accounts either won't link or won't stay linked. Annoying. ### 4/5 — Good start, just needs more from the web app *2023-08-04* I'm a financial advisor using RightCapital for my own clients and myself. Overall I love the software and I think it is a top-shelf planning product. If they continue applying this level of analytics and visual quality to other financial planning concepts, nobody will be able to touch them. This app, like the web product, is clean and easy to read, and intuitive to use for what it does. Outside of a few small UI gripes, my biggest complaint is that I want to see the app do more. At the moment, all it can do is: A Net Worth summary and account aggregation. An Asset Allocation pie chart. Tasks. Vault. Each of these is about as clean and easy to use as it could be - I just want to see more. Some ideas: Expand the Dashboard by adding the ability to choose the same widgets that are available in the Snapshot. In the Dashboard, allow me to see account value history and/or projected values by clicking on each account. Currently, clicking an account shows me the name, institution, and value, all of which I can see on the mainpage of the Dashboard. Add the Cash Flow waterfall and breakdown charts with the slider for every year of the plan. Maybe clicking on one part of the chart expands it to show more detail? Add a few analysis tools like Debt Management, Retirement Confidence, and Tax Brackets and Roth Conversions. For the UI, my biggest complaint is the login process. I get kicked out every day or two and have to log back in but I can't use my password manager. Overall, bravo to the Right capital team, and keep up the good work! If you made all of the above changes to the app, at the level of quality with which you've done everything else, I would happily award 5 stars. ### 3/5 — Decent app *2023-07-10, version 2.4.2* Needs Face ID and a redesign to make things look smoother and more concise. Issues with certain banking authentications causes accounts to become unlinked which is frustrating. Otherwise decent app. I hardly ever use it. ### 4/5 — Pretty powerful app. One thing I really don’t like. *2023-07-10, version 2.4.2* The app has a pretty nice design, with a lot of powerful features by comparison to the run of the mill consumer financial tracking app. One thing I’m really not a fan of, while it may seem minor, is the sign in process for this app. This app needs to integrate with Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google. I’m sure the reason it isn’t is some security based issue.. but please take another look at this or at least provide us with an option to take that risk. Almost every app uses these types of options to offer a much easier way to sign in. ### 3/5 — Needs work *2023-04-25, version 2.3.0* Annoying UX design. Budgeting feature is painful to try and use. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t scroll……. *2022-09-19, version 1.6.3* I would like this app generally if it would scroll. I can only see the first ~10 transactions in the budget portion because it doesn’t scroll. What is the point of it if I cannot see it. Very very frustrating. Please fix this I am going insane. Also whenever I have contacted the app for a technical reason (like the above), they have told me to talk to my financial advisor. Is my financial advisor moonlighting as a technical PM? What is even going on. ### 2/5 — Aggregation is Maddening *2021-04-13, version 1.1.1* I constantly have to relink Wells Fargo, Firstmark Services, and Empower Retirement accounts on Right Capital but they update and stay linked on Mint. I also cannot find a way to sort investments largest to smallest on the Net Worth tab which is a really nice feature offered by Mint. Additionally, it would be nice if there was a way to link unvested RSUs/PSUs so you see a complete picture for planning purposes. Finally, it would be very helpful if the app included the same information that is available when you log into Right Capital online. Overall my experience has been that I use Mint for my day-to-day tracking of my portfolio and cash flow and I only log into Right Capital when I meet with my advisor for the reasons I specified above. ### 2/5 — Sounds good but won’t let me open a new account”! *2021-01-02, version 1.0.0* Title says it all! Sounds good but won’t let me open an account just asked me just to keep sign in instead of “start a new account”! ### 2/5 — Use to be a good App *2020-12-03, version 1.0.0* The Face Recognition hasn’t worked for 3 months. Customer Service won’t help unless you are an Advisor. There is no record of what the goal is. There is no way to annotate any investments if corrections need to be made. There are no links to get deep information on the particular investment There is no place to manually add additional investments like cash, real estate or gold There is no place to track a watch list so if changes to your portfolio are desired, a new financial model could be explored. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2019-01-27, version 0.5.2* The apps is asking for a device name when I log in with my information.
