## What is Riichi Mahjong Score Calc?

Riichi Score is a scoring calculator and study tool for Japanese Riichi Mahjong. It is NOT a solitaire or tile-matching game. Whether you play at a club, on Tenhou, or with friends, this app helps you master the one thing every player struggles with: scoring.

WHAT IT DOES
1. Score calculator. Pick han, fu, dealer or non-dealer and ron or tsumo to get the exact points and payment split.
2. Fu breakdown. See WHY a hand is a given fu count, broken down from the 20-fu base (melds, pair, wait, closed ron, tsumo).
3. Scoring table. The classic han by fu matrix, fully offline.
4. Yaku list. Every yaku from 1 han to yakuman, shown with tile examples, difficulty and tips.
5. Settlement. Final scores with uma and oka.

LEARN FROM ZERO
A friendly teacher-and-student guide walks you through 20 topics, from "what is mahjong" to fu counting, waits, furiten and yakuman. Then test yourself with quizzes: name the yaku, guess the han, what to discard, and true or false rules.

Terminology follows standard English riichi conventions (Riichi, Tanyao, Pinfu, Yakuhai, Honitsu...), so it fits right into how the international community already talks about the game.
