## What is RIKU?

VocaSnap turns any vocabulary page from your school textbook into a learning game — in under a minute.

How it works:
1. Take a photo of your vocabulary page.
2. Riku, your red panda, reads every word — with the exact translation from YOUR textbook.
3. Learn in five free game modes: Tile Flip, Multiple Choice, Write It!, Speak It!, and FindIt!

Why Riku is different:
• EXACT TEXTBOOK TRANSLATION. Other apps show "run = run, jog, sprint, rush". Riku shows what's in YOUR book. Don't accidentally memorize the wrong translation for the test.
• NO TYPING. Take a photo — Riku does the rest.
• FIVE FREE GAME MODES. Tap, speak, guess, flip — choose how you want to learn.
• STREAK & XP. A daily mini-session, and Riku celebrates with you.

One bug fewer:

• The app could freeze for a few seconds when opening or closing the camera.
  That's fixed.

ostly under-the-hood work this time:

• Your vocabulary is saved to the cloud more reliably. Changes to a snap
  now go through completely or not at all – never halfway.
• Older snaps that were missing words in the cloud are repaired
  automatically the next time you open the app.
• Long vocabulary lists scroll more smoothly, especially on iPad.
• New in Settings: you can turn off sending crash reports.
• The countdown for your free Premium time is now on the home screen –
  and you can tap it away if it bothers you.

This update makes Riku more dependable – especially when you switch devices or share one.

• Faster snaps: if a book page has been recognised before, it appears instantly – no waiting.
• Your progress travels with you: "Know" and "Write" now survive a device change.
• One device, two kids: signing in shows only your own books and your own progress.
• Nothing gets lost: books and snaps you collected before creating an account now come along reliably.
• Riku now notices when something goes wrong – so we can find and fix issues faster.

This update brings lots of improvements based on your feedback:
• Speak It! now reads out the correct pronunciation for you
• Move a snap into a different book
• Clearer book selection when snapping – the language now comes first
• Progress and profile restore more reliably on a new device

• Polish and bug fixes

• Resetting your password now works right inside the app — you get a
  short code by email and set a new password on the spot. No more
  broken link.
• Your login password is now reliably saved to your keychain and
  available across all your devices.

  new device.
• Plenty of small improvements and bug fixes.
