We’ll see how it goes but so far I’m very happy. But PLEEEASE, add fingerprint login. I switch from one phone to another depending where I am, and it’s frustrating having to enter my password info each time. Cmon, it can’t be too difficult. After all, it’s a device that monitors your body, surely fingerprint recognition isn’t too difficult to add. ### 4/5 — App Glitches *2026-08-19, version 4.3.1* Had the ringconn since March. Been enjoying it a lot. It allowed me to get rid of my Apple Watch and wear my regular watches again. My only little complaint is the that the app has been glitching/freezing a lot. And i noticed it’s been mostly after it was upgraded. ### 3/5 — The new update is trash *2026-08-15, version 4.3.0* I love this ring, and the fact that there is no subscription; however, this new update freezes, data isn't populating and it makes it harder to get your data which is the whole purpose of the ring. ### 4/5 — Ringconn G2 *2026-08-13* Hatte nach 8 Monaten das Problem, dass der Akku nicht mehr ok war. Der Ring wurde problemlos umgetauscht. Die ersten zwei Tage waren alle Messungen meiner Aktivitäten normal. Seit Dienstag bricht immer wieder die Verbindung zwischen Mobile phone und Ring weg, sobald man das Handy in die Tasche steckt. Trainingsstrecken werden nur noch teilweise abgebildet. Always freezing , has been stuck on Temporarily no date available for 2 weeks then it’ll randomly log for one day and then no data again even after a restart and reboot of the ring and app it’s just so glitchy after this update. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App is Terrible *2026-08-22, version 4.3.1* For starters my review somehow always seems to disappear. I absolutely love this ring and everything it tracks. I always say it’s the Apple Watch of rings. However this review is about the app itself. It was amazing until they did a major update months ago and moved things around. I initially got this ring for cycle tracking. I loved that it was included on the man insights tab because it helped me actually track my cycle. Now they have moved it to a totally different area.. so it’s “out of sight out of mind”. I gave a 1 star because cycle tracking needs to be put back in the main insights page for women. Or at least give people the option to add or remove ANY tracking features they may or may not want on the insights. 🤷🏻‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Updates Seem to Kill Battery Life *2026-08-20, version 4.3.1* I’ve enjoyed my ring for a year and the app has worked great however in the past 2 weeks as updates have been pushed out my battery life has been reduced to less than a day. I am draining to below 20% in about 8 hours. Either the app updates are bad or the product has a 1-year life expectancy. Either way it’s very disappointing because I really loved the experience when the product was working. ### 1/5 — Was Great, now not so much *2026-08-20, version 4.3.1* When this ring was new, it would last a week straight. After the most recent update, I barely last a day. Additionally, it drops data and has become almost worthless. I’m not sure if it’s the app, firmware or both. But it seems like since the new models are out, they made these obsolete. ### 1/5 — Your health is a joke to Ringconn *2026-08-16, version 4.3.0* If your health is serious to you, this isn’t the ring. They gamify results, like it’s a joke to them. I am not a 12 year old who needs a treat when stats are good enough that I don’t die. It feels very much like Duolingo: chase badges, and after two years still don’t know how to construct even a single sentence. But then with health. It’s a feature they are forcing you into. Silly badges. Breathe. Get a badge. Walk. Get a badge. Don’t have a heart attack. Badge. Who at Ringconn thought I bought the ring for any other reason than that I have health concerns?! If the makers are so disconnected with reality this ring cannot possibly measure up to more serious devices. Give it to your 8 year old he may think it’s “fun.” ### 1/5 — Login doesn’t work *2026-08-15, version 4.3.0* I just downloaded this app and I can’t logic with my credentials I use on the web. Password reset doesn’t work neither. What a waste of money, will have to initiate a return now! ### 1/5 — Ring battery lasted less than a year *2026-08-14, version 4.3.0* Battery is drain suddenly, with no warning or notification. It charges quickly but drains fast. It lasted 9 months. Then the app “updated” to a new layout. I will say the old one took some getting used to, but had all kind of great info but the data was all there, got timely alerts, etc. However, the app layout changed and I can hardly get any data to load, much less any alerts. So disappointing after it was working fine. I absolutely love this ring! It has all the same data, similar feel and similar app components. My favorite part is that if there is ever an issue or suggestion, you can write a report to the team and they are absolutely on top of it! I received an email 2 days after my suggestion with a perfect fix that made the app so much better. Thanks! ### 5/5 — PLEASE revert or improve dashboard UI *2026-06-01, version 4.1.1* Giving 5 stars just because I love the ring and the app (generally), not needing a subscription. But the UI in this last update is a big downgrade for me. Previously, I was able to see the wellness balance and my top two specific metrics (sleep and activity personally) without needing to scroll. Now, the wellness balance bubbles are WAY larger for no reason, and it’s actually harder to see specifics about my sleep. The bias is leaning too much towards single, “at a glance” metrics instead of the previous more detail-friendly UI. Maybe give the user the option to customize a bit more - like removing the summary note or disclaimers shown at the top, shrinking size of widgets, etc. ### 5/5 — New Update Looks Significantly Better *2026-05-29, version 4.1.0* I love my Ringconn ring. The app was okay but the new update makes significant improvements. Stats are easier to read, it’s cleaner, etc. best part is no subscription to use it.
