## What is Rinne Sleep?

A quiet rhythm, delivered to your wrist.
Rinne Sleep is an Apple Watch app that gently guides you into sleep — one character at a time, from the Jiga-ge, an ancient verse from the Lotus Sutra in which the Buddha reveals the eternity of his life.
No sound. No bright screen. Just a soft, rhythmic pulse on your wrist, as sacred words flow silently through the night.

Features
- Characters from the Lotus Sutra displayed one by one, with reading guides
- Gentle haptic rhythm synchronized to a restful pace
- Rhythm gradually slows as you drift deeper into sleep
- Auto-off timer ends the session without waking you
- Three rotating rings of sutra text surround each character
- Choose your background: nebula, candlelight, or bamboo forest

How to Use
1. Set your rhythm — Choose a BPM that matches your resting heart rate. A typical resting heart rate is 60–80 BPM. For sleep induction, 50–60 BPM is recommended.
2. Set the fade tempo — Rinne Sleep gradually slows the rhythm down to this tempo, gently guiding your body toward sleep.
3. Set the timer — The app automatically stops after your chosen duration (5–30 minutes).
4. Choose your background — Select from nebula, candlelight, or bamboo forest.
5. Rest — Put on your Apple Watch, close your eyes, and let the ancient words of the Lotus Sutra carry you into sleep.

Haptic intensity can be adjusted on your Apple Watch: Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Haptic Strength (Default, Prominent, or off).
No disturbing your partner. No turning on the lights. Just the ancient words of the Buddha, resting quietly on your wrist.
A new bedtime ritual where Buddhist tradition meets modern technology.
