I need to wash weekly medical scrubs so figuring when to drop off for wash & folds so I get them back in time for the next work week or dedicating a whole part of my weekend for public laundry or logistically preventing mold and mildew if I were to get my own portable units were all options that did not fit my preferences or lifestyle. Having a pickup and delivery laundry service that offers next day ticks all the boxes I need. It’s my first time renting and my first time using this sort of service so I don’t have a reference point which is why I gave 4 stars. For all the firsts, Rinse was a great find and service. They pick up your clothes, launder them as desired, fold them and even separate them in bags which makes putting them away a breeze. The new subscription model is by far the best option. I usually do two services a month. I recently added my bedding and will definitely continue with that every other service. If you are like me and don’t have time for one more chore, try them. Bored and waiting. With absolutely no message or warning the app says I was not there for pick up. I tip the delivery drivers too, yet most of them refuse to come to my door, forcing me to walk to the street to pick up my clothes. There is no option to do another and you send your clothes off the first time and then you get things back and they have been wrecked! Graphic tees should never be sent to Rinse, neither should anything with fun patterns. I grew tired of losing my personal items and the company never did anything, they don’t even have a full color option when selecting missing items on their app. So my red socks can’t even be documented as having been lost since they don’t list colors. I can’t imagine how many people have all had the switcheroo done with their items as well… it can’t always just be socks… They don’t advertise that they lose your items and burn them dry either.
