I like how it looks visually. The only big issue I have is it keeps having me accept terms and conditions almost everytime I open the app, and it won’t ever save my username like it used to. I’ve pressed accept and had to go through it too many times to even remember the count. I’m not sure if this is something you can fix or just have it saved in there that we already accepted the terms. I would prefer that any pending transactions show in the overall account balance rather than having to look at upcoming and doing the math. This is really inconvenient. Also I lost accounts that were previously linked and apparently I have to go into the branch and take time out of my day to set this up again when I did not chose to remove those accounts. Over the weekend, the bank website had gone down and lost my fingerprint entry ID. When I mentioned it to the teller, he said, “I can take care of that while you’re here.“ He took both of my phones and got them working. The website is back to its good old, reliable self.. ### 1/5 — Slow glitchy app that occasionally works *2024-06-17, version 4.40.1230* App struggles to load, for some reason only shows recent transactions which is only the last day or so, and can’t load older transactions even when you try to see them. ### 1/5 — On Line Accounts *2024-03-29, version 4.40.1230* I have been unable to log into my account using my laptop computer and was forced to use the mobile app on my phone. This has been an ongoing issue, and no one can explain why I am unable to use my laptop. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — POPs *2025-11-16, version 5.14.93* I have been with the Rio Grand for several years now and my only complaint is that they take money out of my account and charge me a $20 fee when I still have funds in my account. I was charged $80 in one day, $20 each time. I spent $1.69 and I was charged a $20 pops. Whatever pops mean. It was not an overdraft because there was an abundant amount of money to cover $1.69. As soon as I can, I will be closing my account and moving to another bank that gives me 24 hours to put money in the bank. ### 1/5 — Updates are frustrating *2025-10-17, version 5.11.104* I’m really getting sick of the app updates. It logs me out every time and I use Face ID. It removes it with each update and I have to redo the info. The password fill doesn’t work either. It shuts down as soon as I open up my passwords or if I’m quick enough, it won’t even type in the actual password into it. The app doesn’t show how much much the payment is. It only show balance. ### 1/5 — Clunky *2024-08-15, version 4.40.1230* This app is representative of RGCU: not user friendly. You can only see 5 days worth of transactions at a time without clicking “load more” each time you go back further. And recently it stopped letting me log in with Face ID. It doesn’t integrate with my password manager, so I just have the app keep me logged in, which is of course far from ideal.
