Even if you buy a membership. **Developer response:** I'm really sorry about that! There was a bug in the app that caused the rating prompt to show too often. As soon as I saw your review, I fixed it right away, and I'm now pushing out an update (version 1.0.1) to resolve this issue. The app just launched a few days ago, so I truly appreciate your feedback—I'm an indie developer, and I'm working hard to improve it. I’m not looking to sell or anything so paying for a subscription isn’t worth it. I assumed there would be additional fees for better features but the app is unusable unless you pay. Don’t waste your time downloading it! ### 2/5 — Make it free and update! *2026-04-20* Please update and make everything free then you will be more popular ### 2/5 — Good UI but unusable result speeds *2025-08-05* App has arguably the best interface of TCG scanners - clean and simple - but it currently takes multiple minutes to get a hit on a scan (if it returns a result at all), and it can only scan one card at a time, essentially freezing the app. This renders the app pretty much unusable. I can scan dozens of cards in other apps in the time it takes to scan one card in this one. Maybe the dev will improve the back end processing, but until then, it’s a huge waste of time and effort. **Developer response:** I’m really sorry for the frustrating experience you had. At the time you tried the app, our servers were experiencing performance issues, which caused the long scan times and freezes you mentioned. With the new 1.1.9 update, we’ve completely resolved these problems — scans now process within seconds, and you can continue using the app while results load. I truly appreciate your patience and feedback, and I hope you’ll give the updated version a try. ### 2/5 — Shame *2025-07-21* So, doesn’t give multiple options of variations of specific card and if it does it is not easy to find. Only have seen first edition to base set cards and no Japan version cards. Poorly done unless proven otherwise. **Developer response:** Fair point on the variations and Japanese cards, these are on our list. The 1.2.0 update expands the card database significantly, and JP support is coming. Right now, the app only works with English cards, but I’m keeping Japanese card support in mind for future updates. I really appreciate you giving the app a try! ### 3/5 — Outdated with annoying bugs. *2026-02-22* This app currently has no Mega Evolution sets. It’s OK if you’re looking at older sets. It definitely has a few bugs that should be easy to fix, but as of the latest update, they still have not fixed them. For example, the sort and filter function is hit or miss. If you want to sort by card number or by price, it does not sort correctly. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! The 1.2.0 update is now live and includes all the latest sets including Mega Evolutions. The sort/filter bugs have also been fixed, give it another try! ### 3/5 — Could be better *2025-10-11* I downloaded this hoping I could scan my hits collection, but it’s too cumbersome. The scanner works fantastic and it’s fast, but then you have to press a star on the top right and then tell it where you want to save it to… That’s just too when you want to quickly catalog your full collection. Why they haven’t made an option where you go into your list, you scan the card and then it’s automatically added to the list - then reopens the scanner for the next card, I’m sure I’ll never know. Nobody wants to do all these actions when having to scan hundreds/thousands of cards for cataloging. So the scanner works and it’s accurate, the features of the app is what comes short. I’d only use this app if you have a list made already and only want to add new cards you pull. **Developer response:** Great suggestion! We're working on a "scan-and-add-to-list" flow where the scanner stays open between scans.
