This helped me meet people in my huge intro CS lecture hall with hundreds of kids, and find some study buddies + friends. I also probably would have failed that CS final if I wasn’t able to study with the friends I met on Ripple. After spending so much time online after COVID, it was nice to have an app that made it easier to connect with the people around me, and Ripple has helped to recharge my social battery. Users are not able to see the location of others but can know they are there if within immediate proximity of them. No location data is stored or shared.
