## Newest reviews (13 of 54)

### 5/5 — Kinda like an 0-coast but plays nicer.

*2019-08-21*

Near perfect app, just needs an option to adjust note resolution on the sequencer! (Pretty please.)

### 5/5 — A great intro to modular synthesis

*2019-07-10*

I’m not really a modular guy; I always feel like I’m doing it wrong. One thing I love about this synth is that the presets are not only fantastic and well-rounded, but they serve as a starting point for further exploration. And did I mention, the synth sounds great!

### 5/5 — I like

*2019-06-24*

Fun to create patches

### 5/5 — A unique and compelling palette of timbre’s

*2019-01-21*

I’m not often compelled to leave reviews for iOS sound sources but Ripplemaker is as others have commented a wonderfully unique exception to the VA norm. It’s not just something that’s close to the spirit of ‘0-Coast’ modular gear, it competes with and compliments the best of Buchla-esque boutique hardware available today.

### 5/5 — Brilliant / Top Notch Developer and Apps

*2018-12-19*

All Bram Bros apps are my go to apps in Cubasis 2. They all work seamlessly as AU. Helping me create music I could only dream of with my synth hardware. Developer is number one in my book! Cheers and thanks!!

### 5/5 — Again, currently best apps on market

*2018-12-11*

Just wanted to say thanks, and that on a 3rd gen IPad Pro, you are one of, or possibly the only developer that is good enough that all of your apps are FULLY functional, I’ve wasted like 200 bucks on apps that half/don’t work at all on new devices/ios12. You give me hope that I didn’t waste 1400 bucks on an IPad that I mainly got for mobile audio production. Moog pooped the bed, sugarbytes pooped the bed, and so did most others, there are few apps that are fully functional and don’t have audiobus zombie background use and 70% cpu usage. I seriously have to hard reset brand new IPad after attempting to use 30 dollar apps.
Thanks again keep it up, cuz you totally win at this point in the app game. You made higher paid devs look completely incompetent.

### 5/5 — Cool synth, not really a playground

*2018-11-23*

Fun and efficient. I opened up this au 30x on my ipad with hardly any cpu load. The only thing i do not like is the filter. I wish it were a nice juicy resonant moog lpf....

### 5/5 — Wolf in sheep’s clothing ...

*2018-06-20*

On the surface, this looks to be a very simple, bare-bones synth. However, it becomes quite addictive once you get playing with it and start messing with the cables. I have only just started using it and already getting some amazing sounds from this app. This is a lot of fun and great for modular newbies as well as more experienced musos.

### 5/5 — Super trippy

*2018-06-10*

Please release more presets for us to explore!

### 5/5 — Love it, wish sequencer was in the AUv3

*2018-05-29*

Sounds great and so much fun to use. Truly wish the sequencer was included in the AU. I would use it 10 times more.

### 5/5 — Another top app from Brambos

*2018-03-04*

I always knew I would buy this app one day. A bit like the 0-coast and $500 cheaper, why not!
Like all the brambos apps it is exceptionally well done. He is a very experienced programmer and listens to his customers. I use more brambos apps than any other dev's apps at the moment, they are just so easy to use.
I wanted a new synth with a different sound and this has it, it's west coast ya'll. Sound quality is amazing as expected, and the manual is well written. The design is neat, intuitive and innovative. Au3 and standalone, full AB3 implementation, universal its all there. Wonderful!

### 5/5 — Phenomenal synths by this developer

*2017-11-23*

Super responsive. Awesome programming and sounds.

### 5/5 — Special App is Special

*2017-11-13*

This app is one of those rare Swiss Army instruments that I use for leads arp bass percussion drums soundscape.

I actually begin 75% of my projects with a pulse of 2 notes in RMaker.

This is one of those house music tools you can incorporate even into a DJ set as a neat way to spruce up well known and over played tracks.

Finally the developer is balls out serious into his business and a smart dude.

This is a MUST buy for anyone who does any kind electronic music.

Peace

### 1/5 — No NanoStudio 2 or GarageBand support?

*2021-01-24*

Not recognized by NanoStudio 2 or GarageBand. The sequencer standalone also seems to have no sound output. Am I missing something here?

**Developer response:** Please do a restart of your device, this will force iOS to scan for newly installed AU plugins. It’s a known iOS bug. Please update your 1-star review if this solved the issue.

### 1/5 — Misleading pictures, there's no keyboard

*2017-06-18, version 1.0*

Guess that's it imbedded into something else.

Just a fidgety, unintuitive sequencer, with no instructions except on their website. Sounds ok but this shouldn't be aimed at beginners or the inexperienced.

### 2/5 — Very dull range of sounds

*2017-10-09*

After checking out the “demo” on the developer’s website, this looked to be worth having. But when you get into the app and play around with the sounds available, they are very dull and predictable.
Can’t see how the demo bears any relation to the meagre sounds you get with the app. Waste of money. Not happy.

### 2/5 — viel zu klein

*2017-06-22*

sorry aber auf den handy viel zu klein da bekommt man ja augen krebs .

### 3/5 — Shuffle please!

*2017-12-28*

Please add shuffle to the built in sequencer! Pretty please!
I’m waiting for this since I bought it in v1.0

### 4/5 — Amazing but

*2025-04-14*

Crashes when I click on the Bluetooth midi connector and the note selection/ sequencing doesn’t show up when used in AUM as a node

### 4/5 — Amazing but

*2025-04-08*

Crashed when I click on the Bluetooth midi connector

### 4/5 — Surprising

*2023-07-10*

This app is exactly what I was looking for. Versatile synth and sequencer. Nice modular patching. Extremely easy to use. I was able to start a patch on my iphone and transfer it to my iPad.

I like to make 3 min film cues and then add to or edit them elsewhere. What I immediately liked about this app is that its not TOO simple or TOO complex. It generates good random patterns too! And it’s all on one screen. Don’t let the simple interface fool you, this is a powerful unit. I love the west coast “energy” and tone. Its sounds great.

My complaints: 1) Ableton link won’t sync phone-and-pad (or anything) and the 2) Bluetooth crashes both units. 3) I wish it would tell you which patch is loaded like other synths do. 4) Also the two different load and save areas took getting used to. Hoping for some minor improvements but overall this is a great synth.

### 4/5 — Scale modes

*2017-11-30*

Awesome but please add Locrian and Mixolydian to scale modes (and possibly even a custom scale option). Locrian in particular would be great.

### 5/5 — Aalto for iPhone, nur noch irgendwie besser!

*2025-11-03*

### 5/5 — Worth it just for a kick

*2022-06-18*

Buchla on the go without even touching the price of a Buchla. Honestly bought it to stop being envious of the tip-top Buchla modules and now I’m buying an audio interface just to run this app into a mixer

### 5/5 — Great instrument

*2021-05-28*

Fun synth. Excellent developer response.

**Developer response:** A restart of your device will fix it. It forces iOS to rescan for installed AU plugins (this is a known iOS bug). Update: good to hear that fixed it, thanks!

### 5/5 — One of the best

*2021-03-28, version 1.3.4*

This synth is absolutely superb. It may seem confusing at first, but take the time to experiment with different connections and see how the components act on each other. Once it clicks, you will have a world of possibilities in one ridiculous steal of an app. Or I suppose you could buy a synth module that does the same thing for 800-1500 dollars. 💁🏻‍♂️

### 5/5 — ok,cool

*2020-11-25*

wünsch mir cv eingang für die delay time.

### 5/5 — Great Sandbox

*2020-10-22*

An absolute delight to tinker with. Especially fun if you're new to modular synthesis as its not too complex and experimenting with patches is rewarding and educational.
AUM integration is the icing on the cake.
Very happy with this purchase.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2020-09-23*

Synthé modulaire simple avec un gros son. Ca serait bien d’ajouter une fonction midi learn et la possibilité d’ouvrir le séquenceur en mode AU.

### 5/5 — Perfect for Kraftwerkian type percussion!

*2019-12-21*

One of the best IOS synth apps I come across for getting that resonant electro thip type sound popularized by Kraftwerk back in the 70s which also is very similar to the sounds Chipmunks make when they are warning other chipmunks of a potential danger!

### 5/5 — Modular synth for beginners!

*2019-11-29*

This is the first modular synth, digital or otherwise, that I’ve experimented with yet. The dev is right in calling his app “intuitive”: I was able to get up and running within an hour. Still exploring the possibilities and am sure many months of fun are ahead.

### 5/5 — I love it.

*2019-10-04*

I love everything this developer creates. All apps by you guys are top shelf.
