Ripples is the social network for sport fishing: a feed of catches with photo and video, tournaments with live leaderboards, rankings, fishing trips planned with friends, a spot map and a weather forecast built for fishing. All in one place, free. A NETWORK OF ANGLERS ONLY Follow friends, like and comment on catches with photo and video, discover anglers in your region and build your team. In the chat you can send fishing spots and routes straight to a friend, ready to open on the map. LOG EVERY FISH Take the photo and the app suggests the species. Date, time and location come from the photo itself; you just confirm the size. The catch goes into your log with the exact spot, and you choose who sees it: only you, your followers or everyone. SPORT FISHING TOURNAMENTS Create a tournament, send the code and you are done: the leaderboard updates instantly, by biggest fish or by count, with catch approval and rules you set. There is even a knockout bracket mode, solo or in teams. Works for the boat crew, the club or a whole community. RANKING AND ACHIEVEMENTS Compete in the overall and regional rankings, follow your stats and unlock achievements as you hit new marks. FISHING TRIPS WITH FRIENDS Plan the trip: invite the crew, build the checklist, split expenses and check the forecast for the day. On the water, Live Fishing Session tracks distance, time and catches on the iPhone lock screen. YOUR SPOTS ON THE MAP Mark spots, boat ramps, structure and fishing lakes on satellite or street maps. Save an area to your phone and keep seeing the map with no signal, navigate to the spot and warn others with on-water alerts. WEATHER MADE FOR FISHING Wind, pressure, moon phase, solunar table and the good windows of the day, at your spot. Compare forecast sources, see which one has been most accurate in your region and check the wind model by model (ECMWF, GFS and ICON). GEAR, LURES AND SPECIES Organize your tackle box and gear and browse the species catalog, with the names each region uses. NO NONSENSE No video ads, no selling your data and no paid plan. Tackle shops, guides and lodges in your region can appear in the feed as sponsored, always labeled. Built by anglers in Brazil. Available in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Questions or ideas: reach us in Help, inside the app. ## Is Ripples Fish safe? Not enough ratings yet to assess Ripples Fish. ## Is Ripples Fish legit? Ripples Fish has limited verification signals. Instead of a 0 to 100 score, each day is rated good, fair or slow, with the reason written below, and good windows show hour by hour. Rain, wind and pressure now really count in the calculation. River level comes from the nearest ANA gauge (Brazil), with the last 24 hours trend. Bug fixes and performance improvements. ### 1.26.24 — 2026-10-15 Your birth date is now typed at sign-up, with month, day and year fields, no more scrolling through a calendar. The menu got a tackle box that opens when you tap it. Bug fixes and performance improvements. ### 1.26.20 — 2026-10-10 A more varied Discover feed: every time you pull to refresh, you get a fresh mix, with recent catches first. The new catches notice at the top is also more accurate. Bug fixes and performance improvements. ### 1.26.17 — 2026-10-06 Everything shows up instantly now: likes, comments, messages and notifications arrive in under a second, no need to leave the screen. Also in this version: • Sign in with your Google account, or link Google to your account in your profile • Tournament rankings, knockout brackets and fishing trip lists update on their own • New catches notice at the top of the feed • "Fished together" section on your profile, with friends' catches you were tagged in • Crop your profile photo when you first sign up ### 1.26.6 — 2026-10-01 Icon shortcuts: press and hold the Ripples icon to log a catch, save the spot where you are, let your friends know you're fishing or open the forecast. Also in this version: • Comments: you can now reply to a comment and like comments. • Moments: a heart to like, alongside the reactions. • Spot from a photo: pick a photo and the app creates the spot where it was taken. • Marking a spot on the map: the app asks you to tap where the spot is, with a shortcut to use your location. • Catch location: search for the place by name. When a photo has no location, the app asks whether to use your current location or choose on the map. • Fix: the map for picking the catch location loads again. • Contact us: the reply can include a link that opens the right topic in Help. ## Apps similar to Ripples Fish | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [FishBud](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/fishbud/id6756240021) | — | Free | Social Networking | | [Khronos Condomínios](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/khronos-condominios/id1446472682) | 4.5 (10) | Free | Social Networking | | [Suprema Poker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/suprema-poker/id1583176410) | 4.3 (32) | Free | Social Networking | | [Supertext: Chat & SMS](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/supertext-chat-and-sms/id866215398) | 3.2 (6) | Free | Social Networking | | [Scopely Explore Campfire](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/scopely-explore-campfire/id1608615554) | 3.1 (1,446) | Free | Social Networking | | [Playbite - Mobile Arcade](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/playbite-mobile-arcade/id1522413113) | 4.6 (16,476) | Free | Social Networking | ## Related topics [ripple fishing](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/ripple-fishing) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
