Sorry for the delay, there were different causes making the app unstable for some time. Despite numerous updates, the app continues to suffer from a recurring problem involving frequent authorization requests for trackt.tv. After just 2–3 logins, you are prompted to authorize again. This is extremely inconvenient and seriously disrupts the user experience. It’s much easier to install the official app from trackt.tv or use FilmNoir instead. Avoid this developer altogether. . Wasted $14.99 DON’T BE TRICKED😡 ### 1/5 — 14 day free trial - don't believe it *2025-12-05, version 26.2.1* Gave this app a try and thought it looked ok so thought I'd sign up for the 14 day free trial referred to when clicking on 'Premium' button before deciding whether to continue with £8.99 per year sub. However on choosing annual sub no mention of 14 day free trial. I continued anyway and was immediately charged £8.99 with no mention of free trial. Requested refund with with Apple Store pointing out the misrepresentation in app - both iPhone and Mac versions. Apple declined, I asked again only to have refund declined again. Can the Developer sort this out please. Wasted $14.99 ### 1/5 — Searchbar *2025-07-22, version 7.8* Paywall to use a search bar makes no sense. ### 1/5 — Worthless without subscription *2025-05-23* It apparently has no useful trackt integration (even though it will happily let you authorize it with the site) unless you are on one of the “premium” plans. The only thing not behind the subscription paywall is the “Browse” tab. Every view just shows a list of the premium features and reviews. Functionality is rich, brilliant and smooth. As described, works on top of Trakt but I find best managed with your own lists rather than the native watched and watchlists idea of Trakt. Add those shows that you want to watch to your own “following” list, add / move shows which you have ended to another list. Rippple will highlight shows and episodes across all lists that haven’t aired yet but are going to, as well as shows that have aired but you haven’t watched yet. And it does that really smoothly. As a bonus when you reach the Trakt 100 show limit you can just create another list and mark it in Rippple as one you want to use. Save the Trakt VIP fee to have a bigger list. I had another tracker before this but it stored the shows within itself. When I went to see all the shows they were hidden and I had to extract them. Rippple keeps it all in Trakt so you can see all the shows that matter to you if you want. ### 5/5 — The shelf is my favorite *2025-12-29, version 26.3* The shelf is exactly what I’m looking for. Seriously thank you to the developer for an amazing app and for the dedication they put in with the amount of consistent updates we get. Every week there are new additions/improvements.
