## What is Rise?

Rise is a custom alarm clock for people who want mornings without clutter. Build an alarm routine that fits real life: up to eight alarms, day-of-week settings, snooze, and easy skip-next when you need one less wake-up. Pick from built-in tones or create your own custom alarm sound so wake-ups feel personal. Dark glass and calm. No account is required; optional accounts protect alarms, sounds, and credits across devices.

Open Rise, add an alarm, choose which days of the week it fires, and pick a sound — or describe your own and let Rise generate one for you, powered by ElevenLabs. When plans change, skip the next occurrence with a tap without turning the alarm off for good. Custom generated sounds are one-time consumable purchases; each generation is moderated before it ships. You can optionally log wake-up times with Apple Health (HealthKit) so your wake moments sit alongside your other health data.

Alarms rely on local notifications and background audio so alerts play reliably. Rise is free with ads; a one-time Remove Ads purchase turns them off permanently. Apple Health (HealthKit) wake data is written to your Health app and is never used for tracking, profiling, or advertising. Rise asks permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before AdMob may use data for personalized advertising; declining is fully supported.

### 3/5 — Glitchy but promising. Excellent Customer Service!

The app is pretty decent with some appreciable features. I encountered several glitches and it appears the app is still in development. For me the best thing about the app is the customer service. I’ve never experienced such quick responses, professional, and customer oriented tone and the results. For that, I would give Brent five stars! Due to my specific audio set up needs I will not be able to use this app.
