No voices? ### 4/5 — Not my cup of tea, but probably not one star. *2024-12-16, version 1.132* I really got the game to balance the score out. As a new game I don’t think it deserves one star. I have not witnessed the freezing on my phone as the other review states. However, that all said, town building PvP games are not my cup of tea. All I did was go through the intro, some of chapter four (basically recruiting and almost building the city). It is one of those town building PvP city bubble for free for a certain time before it expires type game with an odd movement Birds Eye view mechanic and a different 5v5 mechanic. There were spelling errors in the tutorial. One scene it allows you to read the first line then the second line shows up and zooms away before it can be read. Directly after the intro all music and sounds disappears. Normally, I’d probably rate this a two or three stars but I don’t believe it deserves a one in the store. ### 3/5 — Needs work *2024-12-27, version 1.133* I do really enjoy the game. Rise of Gods plays like most civilization builder games. The game does have cool characters and mechanics; However, the game lacks in both story and progression. Most games like this have a new player set of missions that last for approximately a week - something to work toward. The game does have missions but feels like it’s missing a drive for the players. The campaign is very short and can be completed without the player being very strong.
