### 3/5 — Making you win

*2026-08-23, version 3.23*

Really good. It just seems like I constantly win against bots even though I’m not good at this game.

### 1/5 — Dishonest

*2026-08-22, version 3.23*

I used to play quite a lot and occasionally purchased map packs. Took an extended break. Wanted to play for a bit today but the game has completely reset my settings again even though I always played against AI opponents. It did so several times in the past so it was a minor annoyance. This time though it was different. The game refused to restore my purchases. Ok. Well... be warned not to spend money on this rubbish I guess.

### 1/5 — Screwed

*2026-08-21, version 3.23*

Didn’t receive battle points for completing the tutorial and no response from customer service. I will not invest 1 minute or $1 into this game until this is resolved.

### 1/5 — Previous review deleted. !!!HASBRO PLEASE FIRE SMG!!!

*2026-08-21, version 3.23*

SMG has a cesspool where 99% of accounts are cheats, and Hasbro won’t take it off SMG! Together they’ve turned what was once a really enjoyable game into a Wild West of VPNs, with most users on several accounts playing the same game.
The ranking system is entirely false as high ranking players use their low ranking smurfing accounts to lower genuine player ranks. SMG calls this 'entirely appropriate' which gives you some idea of how false ranking actually is.
Reporting cheating doesn’t work. Game is open to hackers also. Literally videos shared of how easy it is.
It’s really awful for anyone wanting a genuine game.
The reporting system is as useful as a wet paper bag.
Once you filter out the Grandmasters behind all the 'novice' and 'beginner' accounts you literally have to wait around an hour for start a single 5-10 minute game.
As others have said, the 'True Random' dice are faulty, giving out outcomes far more commonly than they would if they really were random.
Complaining to SMG just gets you a closed reply (if you're lucky) full of hubris, much like many dev replies to these low score reviews.

### 1/5 — Rigged

*2026-08-20, version 3.23*

No set way of earning points just whoever they randomly give extra points to throughout the games. They decide who wins.

### 1/5 — No Skill

*2026-08-20, version 3.23*

There’s absolutely no skill required. Why? Whoever goes first wins. Whatever they do, they’ll win. You go first? Take all of the territory. The other player will only get 3 troops in their round, they can’t do anything, and then in your round, you get 15 because you have all of the territory. If you do not go first, you will lose.

### 1/5 — BS Game

*2026-08-18, version 3.23*

Zero logic behind opponents moves and battle outcomes are BS 50% of the time. Find another game!

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2026-08-18, version 3.23*

Can’t just jump in and play. I didn’t download for a story I wanted to play a game. The game play and tutorial are so slow and unnecessary.

### 1/5 — They lost all my purchases I spent $30 on maps

*2026-08-17, version 3.23*

Where they go

### 1/5 — So many ads!

*2026-08-17, version 3.23*

An absolutely absurd number of ads where it’s very difficult to find the close button on the ads.

### 1/5 — Game is full of cheaters

*2026-08-16, version 3.23*

Game is full of cheaters if you report the games the cheaters never get banned.

### 2/5 — Fun but not honest

*2026-08-16, version 3.23*

I love this game but it feels like a scam. They say you’re playing people but they’re too mechanical to be people. There’s always some player that doesn’t play to win but plays to keep you from winning. Also when you create a game or try to choose one, supposedly there’s players all over the world but there’s only a handful of games available and sometimes it takes 20 minutes to find players. When you get them to join it says they’re from Yemen and Bolivia and other improbable locations. If the game had real players, It’d take 5 minutes or less just to find US players to join. So it’s a scam, unless you have friends to play with. Some of the players may be real but I doubt most of them are.

### 1/5 — VIRUS SOFTWARE

*2026-08-16, version 3.23*

Don’t download this, I’ve had to get a whole new phone after downloading this game and getting a virus from a hacker. Their security and support is awful and was no help after several complaints.

### 2/5 — Fun but not honest

*2026-08-15, version 3.23*

I love this game but it feels like a scam. The game itself is really cool but it seems dishonestly managed. When you create a game, players show up from all over the world but it has to be a lie. If the game is so popular then it shouldn’t take that long to find 6 players. Supposedly people from Saudi Arabia and Yemen and Bolivia are playing with you. Highly improbable in its own right but when you get all the players half quit in the first few turns. It has these patterns that seem to be there to intentionally be annoying. This game isn’t managed by straight men with families, the integrity isn’t there and it’s not managed by straight women because the deceit is too aggressive. It seems like it’s managed by petty people who substitute the real weight and excitement of integrity for petty micro aggression and deceit suggesting their nature has been compromised. Sometimes there may be real players you’re playing with but if there’s some dishonesty then it’s difficult to say what’s true because integrity isn’t being prioritized. Hopefully they can remedy this but the FCC should get involved in these game companies at some point because the public shouldn’t have to endure false advertising and deception in such a petty space as gaming. It’s unnecessary and counter productive reflecting poor character that should be discouraged and penalized.

### 1/5 — Terrible servers even worse customer service

*2026-08-15, version 3.23*

Don’t bother. Multiplayer is riddled with hackers/cheaters, ruins the multiplayer mode which also constantly crashes and the customer service is the worst I have ever seen.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Was good

*2026-09-01, version 3.23*

Game was good until the recent ads bogged the game down. Time to delete

### 1/5 — Ads are like 10min long. Waste of time

*2026-08-31, version 3.23*

Ads are like 10min long. Wish there was a little strip of ad or a skip button. No you are forced to watch a 10min app.
I Dont have time for this. Nor willing to spend $$ on this game

### 1/5 — They allow cheating

*2026-08-29, version 3.23*

They let cheaters keep playing with a slap on the wrist! The game use to be fun.

### 1/5 — Ads

*2026-08-29, version 3.23*

Annoying ads won’t let me play the game anymore deleted.

### 1/5 — Not accessible for blind players

*2026-08-28, version 3.23*

Would love to be able to play this game again and was so excited to find it, but it is not accessible for blind players. Please consider making it to where this game can be used with VoiceOver on my iPhone or JAWS or NVDA on my PC.

### 1/5 — Risk

*2026-08-27, version 3.23*

I noticed being banned after winning a few games.
No reason or justification. Like a bot automated response of so many offences I should be a master criminal lol.
Apart from that I was enjoying each game win or lose .

### 1/5 — Overrides IOS haptic controls

*2026-08-25, version 3.23*

The current version of Risk overrides IOS controls on haptic notifications. It doesn’t matter if you allow the app notifications or not. It doesn’t matter if you use a global setting to silence all notifications. It still vibrates, there is no option to shut it off, and it is LOUD.

### 1/5 — So unstable

*2026-08-24, version 3.23*

70% of the time this game will crash. Apparently it cannot run on iPhone 17 Pro. Trash coding.

### 1/5 — Ads make it a nightmare to play

*2026-08-24, version 3.23*

This is only getting a 1 star review because of the ads. The gameplay itself is fine , but this company is ridiculously greedy. Each ad is 2-3 minutes long. You have to watch an ad to start a game, at the end of the game and every time you get back into a game you’ve already started. It’s insanity. To be brow beaten with half an hour of ads just to finish a game with real people is the worst way I’ve seen a game developer try to force people to pay for no ads from the in app shop ($13!!!!).

### 1/5 — bad mechanics

*2026-08-23, version 3.23*

1 turn can change an entire game, and you can do basically nothing about it, your allies can take your land without breaking alliances, how does that make sense?

*2026-07-30, version 3.23*

Not only does it come with a bunch of different maps to play on and new types of play to learn, it’s also just easier and faster than moving all your pieces and rolling all the dice in a normal game

### 5/5 — Great game
