## What is Ristamo?

Ristamo is a workout and meal log built for the gym. All logging is free. Subscribe only when you want AI analysis.

■ Workout log (free)
• Build routines and log sets, weight and reps in one go
• Finish a set and the rest timer starts on its own. See the time left right on your Lock Screen
• Complete sets and run the rest timer from your wrist with Apple Watch
• Workout time, volume, personal bests for each exercise and trend charts
• Weights in kg or lb
• Save workouts to the Health app (if you allow it)

■ Meal log (free)
• Calories plus carbs, protein and fat for every meal
• Save foods you eat often to My foods and add them in one tap
• Daily calorie and protein targets based on your goal, with what’s left for today
• Morning (fasted) weight and your weight trend

■ AI (subscription)
• Food photo analysis: snap one photo and AI estimates the foods and portions
• Re-analyze with edits: fix a wrong food or amount and it recalculates with your changes
• Today’s workout: plans today’s weights and sets from your last 4 weeks of logs
• Weekly review and starter plan
• Meal ideas for the rest of today (Pro)

■ Your logs stay on your device
Your workout, meal and weight logs are stored only on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. Data is sent only when you use an AI feature: just what that feature needs goes through the Ristamo server to Claude, the AI by Anthropic (US). Before you use AI for the first time, we show you what will be sent and ask for your consent. The Ristamo server doesn’t store the content of your requests.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-28

New
• On iPhone Duo, unfold for two panes. During a workout, tap the set button on the left and see your rest time and next set on the right. Today, Routines, Meals, Log and Settings use both sides too.
• Half-open your iPhone Duo and stand it on a bench or the floor: rest and set timers get big enough to read from across the gym.

Fixes
• Protein in Meals no longer splits across two lines on narrow screens.
• Rest overtime no longer wraps inside the rest ring after a very long rest.
• Custom exercises now show their names in the weekly review.
• The Analyze and Done buttons above the keyboard now always appear when you type a meal or search for exercises.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-25

New
• "Swap with alternative" in routine editing: if the equipment is always busy, make the alternative the routine's exercise. The current exercise becomes the alternative, and tapping again switches back.
• Open the Privacy Policy, the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (US) and Support from "About" at the bottom of Settings.

Fixes
• The Privacy Policy on the subscription screen now opens in your device language.
• The AI data consent screen now describes what's sent more precisely. Health app data is never sent to AI.
• Fixed the Support ID in Settings > AI appearing to change after a fresh install.
• In "Completed sets" during a workout, the badge moves below long exercise names.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-24

New
• FitLog is now Ristamo. Your logs and subscription stay just as they were.
• Ristamo is now available in English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and Spanish. It follows your device language, and AI recommendations and reviews answer in that language too.
• Weights in pounds (lb): switch in Settings > Weight unit. Weight steps, increments and the bar (45 lb) follow lb. Your logs stay the same.
• “Do another exercise first” during a workout: if someone is using the equipment, do one of today’s remaining exercises first and pick the current one back up right after. Your routine order stays the same.
• An alternative exercise for each exercise: AI plans, the weekly review and Today’s workout pick one exercise for when the equipment is taken. Switch to it from the top of “Swap exercise” during a workout, and the remaining sets change to that exercise’s weight and reps. You can also set or change it yourself when editing a routine.
• Workout notes: write how the workout felt on the finish screen or in History. Today’s workout and the weekly review take pain and how you feel into account.
• Edit saved workouts: tap “Edit” in History to change a set’s weight and reps, or delete and add sets. If it’s the latest workout of that routine, your next targets are recalculated from the edited log.

Fixes
• Warm-up and drop set weights for dumbbell and kettlebell exercises now use 1kg steps. Before, they used 2.5kg steps, so a 24kg dumbbell’s warm-up could come out as 12.5kg, a weight that doesn’t exist.
• Fixed an issue where tapping the button rapidly right after starting a set logged the set with the planned values. “Complete set” can’t be tapped for 2 seconds after you start, and “Log” can’t be tapped right after the result sheet appears.
• New routines use a 1kg weight increment for dumbbell and kettlebell exercises. Before, it was 2.5kg, so weights went up like 8kg → 10.5kg. For routines you’ve already made, change it under “Weight increment” when editing the routine.
