Literally why allow non-EU users to sign up in the first place? Oh yeah because then Rita can’t use your data in the EXACT SAME way big data corps like Google do 🤦🏽‍♂️ (their app premise is a lie for non-EU citizens, absolute shambles) ### 2/5 — Scam? *2024-01-14, version 2.2.9* How come in the advert the person earned £11 with 800 something ads clicked but I got 1374 ads clicked & earned £0.00 ### 1/5 — Useless *2023-04-22, version 1.8.3* Successfully prepared a dashboard only once in months, all other attempts never succeeded despite data being downloaded! ### 1/5 — Scam *2023-03-03, version 1.7.5* This is a scam. They don't pay you, they just use your data like any other company ### 1/5 — Scam *2023-02-19, version 1.7.3* Their obviously taking your data and selling it, they “pay” you £2 and don’t even pay. They make you use your stripe account and then login, it creates a Rita Data thing on Stripe and it says £0.00. There’s no point putting time into trying this it doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Only supports Google *2023-02-04, version 1.7.1* Don’t have a Google account so it’s pretty futile if you don’t have a gmail account. There’s no way to make an account with a 3rd party email no yahoo, outlook or similar either. So yeah, useless. ### 2/5 — Round in circles *2022-12-08, version 1.6.4* This is very confusing. Keeps sending you round in circles, forever requesting sign-ins, then trying to get you to sign up to other stuff. The email address from which I send the removal request is not the same one I use to log in to Google or Facebook. Therefore, none of these companies can find my data. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App was very good back in 2023-2024, but not in 2025 *2025-09-19, version 7.7.0* While I do appreciate the concept, the app has somehow stopped working to its main extent, especially with it being laggy in the app, and there being a black screen on start-up, and when I completed my tasks, I didn't even get anything in my wallet! I also haven't had any contact on Discord, which is likely since this company has gone dark. I'm going to remove my Google data access until something is done. ### 1/5 — Incredibly glitchy and no customer service *2025-08-24, version 7.7.0* This app is incredibly glitchy to the point that I have about €12 waiting for me on there after using it for months but I cannot even get on the app to take out the money. I've talked with customer service several times over WhatsApp but they are just not responding at this point. Please help, guys! I can’t cash out even though I earned enough points to cash out. I can’t do the daily draw and I can’t upload my data. Very disappointed in this. I have wasted time and effort. Too many glitches make this impossible to use. ### 1/5 — DO NOT DOWNLOAD SCAM *2024-12-23, version 2.5.0* I use an app called QMEE which Rita paid to promote their app so I decide to try it out, took my some time but finally got to the £4 cashout and there’s no way to cashout to Stripe and it just gives me an error, the developer(s) are awful with communication please just don’t download this scam they’re earning of YOUR data and giving you no money back. You login, link to Google and it downloads your data profile. It tells you how much Google have monetised your data for, and then allows you to trade your data directly with companies rather than letting Google earn from you. Then it allows you to remove your data from companies, putting you in full control of your privacy and monetisation. Simple and effective. Game changer. ### 5/5 — Great app to understand the value of your data *2021-04-12* This app has a very nice interface that guides you to understand how your data is being used. I love that it provides an overall privacy score, along with easy to access / understandable information on who is collecting your data and what you can do to control it. Overall its design is aimed at transparency which is great. Please fix. Also the cashing out function via Stripe keeps stopping short of allowing me to actually cash out. I've reached out to the tech team about this a few times and only one response where they asked if I'm still dealing with the issue, and no follow-up after several times trying to contact them about it. I initially signed up and received the €5 bonus for uploading my data but nothing since then... Please fix, guys.
