### 4/5 — Awesome idea on Vision Pro, but needs key basics and deeper analytics

*2026-01-31*

★★★★☆ 4/5
Rittiers is a really cool concept, especially on Apple Vision Pro. Being able to visualize a route in your physical space gives you a better sense of scale for climbs and turns before you go outside, and the app already supports importing workouts, GPX routes, and viewing elevation profiles.

That said, there’s plenty of room for improvement.

Biggest issue: there’s no option to switch kilometers to miles. For a lot of U.S. users, that’s a simple setting that should be available.

What would make it amazing: I’d love an “elevation playback” mode where you scrub along the elevation graph and it follows a dot along the route, while showing how metrics change, like heart rate, speed, and pace when you’re climbing or descending. Other route platforms already do this style of interactive elevation tracing (tap and drag the elevation profile and a dot tracks the corresponding point on the route), and it’s super helpful for understanding effort.

Overall, it’s a nice app with a lot of potential, and the Vision Pro angle is genuinely fun and useful. It just needs a few core quality-of-life settings and more analytics to feel complete.
