Opening the compose sheet is one clean movement again. The card was sliding up while the title box was still settling into its own height, so two animations ran at once. And the gap between a calendar event's colour dot and its time holds still now. It used to shift depending on whether something was running right then, and on a 24-hour clock it sat wider than it needed to. Calendar rows across the app also agree about when an event has actually ended. ### 1.1.1667 — 2026-08-17 Type a task the way you'd say it. Type "gym tue/thu 6pm" and Ritual fills in the repeat and the reminder as you type, then saves the task as just "gym". The words it used are highlighted while you type, and a line under the title shows exactly what will be saved, so nothing disappears without you seeing it. It understands the way you'd actually say it: days, dates and times, "next week", "next wednesday", "in 10 days", "on the 20th", repeats like "every other tuesday", and due dates like "submit report by friday". Numeric dates such as "8/2" read the way your region writes them, and a date that has already passed rolls forward to next year rather than landing behind everything overdue. When Ritual works something out, that field lights up for a moment so you can see it. Anything you set by hand stays exactly as you left it, and your own words are left alone: "sat sun camping trip" and "finish 2nd draft" are just titles. ### 1.1.1613 — 2026-08-17 Task rows are rebuilt. A task date chip and its check circle sit centred and aligned with each other, a project and date read together on one line, and expanding or collapsing a task holds the card top edge exactly still. Settings is easier to scan: notification switches, purchases, appearance, views and the about details each have their own place instead of one long scroll. Views has its own page for Work hours and for filing projects and calendars. A project in neither view is labelled Hidden, and switching view by hand can always be undone. Scrolling to the top of a list stays where you leave it, and the screen title keeps a consistent position on every list. An event you are currently in shows when it ends rather than when it started, and finished events fade back so the day ahead stands out. The Today and Agenda widgets keep up as events begin and end. ### 1.1.1528 — 2026-08-10 - Selecting several tasks now turns the Today pill itself into Delete, rather than sliding a second chip in beside it. - The task editor has a title field and a separate description field again.
