There is no way to shift audio modes for the speaker or adjust EQ (other than one bass and one treble). There is no trillium stereophonic mode. No loud mode. No left or right speaker mode. My 7 driver speakers can only output mono sound with zero stereo separation.  This app is all around useless and riva support is non existent.

The new update even broke the control between iPhone volume button and the app. I can no longer control the volume. My iPhone updated to the new version automatically. I wish I could go back.

No updates in 6 months!  Thank you RIVA for abandoning us for your new line of “Voice” speakers.  The Wand app is barely better than terrible.  Apple devices are most unusable.  Called support and was told to reset my router.  I was stupid enough to do it once, man I’m a sucker sometimes!!!  Guess what?  It didn’t fix your connection issues RIVA!  Don’t waste your money.  I’m buying Libratone next time.

What a sad excuse for an app.  Hangs up all the time.  Speakers are useless if app no working.

Had a hell of a time serving up speakers via Google home. For no apparent reason they connect and now play music.

However WAND APP can not find any speakers.
It worked for a small amount of time but now nothing.

Both apps are horribly unreliable and choose when they wish to work.

WOULD NOT BUYRIVA DUE TO THIS SOFTWARE

I see some negative reviews, but after having purchased a Riva Arena recently, I have not had any trouble. Maybe the firmware updates have helped...when I first got it the app seemed to work fine, then the next day the firmware updated. Again, no problems. I gave it 4 stars because the UI is a little unintuitive, but it has done everything I’ve wanted. 

I love the speaker and really only use it as an airplay speaker. I don’t use any of the optional services, only Apple Music. I do like the google cast option, but I don’t need it. So far, so good.
