## What is Rivail?

Rivail brings together all ten books by Allan Kardec in English, complete and newly translated from the original French: The Spirits’ Book, The Gospel According to Spiritism, The Mediums’ Book, Heaven and Hell, Genesis and five more. With the Spiritist prayers and the Gospel at Home. Offline, no ads, no account. Also in Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Spanish and the French original.

FREE TO READ — THE TEXT IS NEVER FOR SALE
Kardec’s books on Spiritism are complete in the app, with no subscription and no advertising. The paid plans are one-time purchases that add in-depth study material and the illustrations — never the text.

THE BOOKS OF ALLAN KARDEC, COMPLETE
• The Spirits’ Book — all 1,018 questions and answers of the 2nd edition (also known as the Book of Spirits)
• The Gospel According to Spiritism
• The Mediums’ Book
• Heaven and Hell
• Genesis
• What is Spiritism?
• Spiritism in its Simplest Expression
• Summary of the Law of Spiritist Phenomena

TRANSLATED FROM THE FRENCH, WITH THE ORIGINAL IN VIEW
No line comes from another translation. The text was translated from the editions Allan Kardec published and checked against period facsimiles. Kardec’s French original appears under each item whenever you want it, and a “Note on this edition” says what is printed wherever there is a doubt.

SPIRITIST PRAYERS AND THE GOSPEL AT HOME
The prayers of The Gospel According to Spiritism, arranged by occasion: at bedtime, in affliction, for the sick, for those who have died, to ask for guidance. And a step-by-step guide to the Gospel at Home: opening prayer, reading, commentary and closing prayer.

LISTEN TO THE SPIRITS’ BOOK
Read-aloud uses your phone’s own voice, with adjustable speed and pitch, and moves on from one chapter to the next. It works offline.

STUDY THE SPIRITIST DOCTRINE
• 56 topics — God, reincarnation, mediumship, free will, the future life, charity — with what the ten books say on each; the opening passages of every topic are free to read
• Three reading plans for The Spirits’ Book that move at your pace
• Search across all ten works at once
• Color highlights, notes and collections
• In Complete, PDF study guides for groups and Spiritist centers

FOR EVERY DAY
• Passage of the day and question of the day on the home screen
• Daily reading reminder and widget
• A card to share a passage, with its source cited
• Light, parchment and dark themes; text size; color adjustment for color blindness

ILLUSTRATED AND COMPLETE — ONE-TIME PURCHASES
Illustrated adds the documented covers and more than 150 reconstructed period scenes, one per chapter, each with a caption saying where what it shows comes from. Complete adds the 56 topics in full, the study track in modules and the PDF guides. If you already own Illustrated, you pay only the difference.
